  Its ok

  Rooms were small but clean, but at times in the morning, there was either no water or it was cold. We were only offered breakfast at 8am which is not what you want when on holiday Stairs are narrow and steep, and we had to pay cash

  Value for money

  I stayed in a one bedroomed room at the Bronte for the weekend which had its own toilet shower and washbasin for 35 quid without breakfast. Breakfast was an extra fiver but with covid around it wasn't something I required. With a decent WiFi connection, a nice hot shower and sanatiser by the front door, and inside the front door this was very good value. The b and b only has spaces for 6 cars, but I got parked both evenings. There is a car park 100 metres away. There is a pub called captain Jack's in the same road, so not too far to ho for a beer. The b and b is a 2 minute walk from the beach, and the main street of the town is perhaps a 15 - 20 minute walk away. Torquay is a 10 minute drive away, and you can add another 10 mins on top if that for the lovely views at Babbacombe. Dartmouth is well worth a visit from here. Overall a nice b and b which was excellent value.

  Torbay in Autumn

  Just back from a lovely 5 day stay at The Bronte and had a lovely break. Our room had everything we needed including a mini-fridge. Free very good wi-fi and parking were included in the price. Not being early risers we were unable to rate the breakfast. 5 days of sunshine enabled us to see the area at it's very best. All in all a very pleasant break.

  Great Location and friendly owners

  Had a short stay in Paignton to ride on the River Dart Steam railway. The bnb owners were very friendly and welcoming offering excellent customer service! The location is superb, just back from the seafront and a short walk to the railway station.

  Wonderful!

  Paul and Gail are the perfect hosts. They were very kind and flexible about a late check-in as we travelled from far. The rooms are so clean and spotless you could operate in them. There is a thoughful detail to everything, like an extra butter knife for your delicious breakfast, a wee cooky on your tea tray in your room or a special "Thr Bronte" pen as memorium gift. Paul waved us goodbye - a very humbling experience. We loved our stay!
