  Suitable for the elderly

  As you arrive the front of the guesthouse cannot be mistaken for anything else. Flowers and pot animals in abundance. Very good coded security system on the front door with a bright light making it easy to see what to do. Unfortunately as soon as you walk in the smell hits you, my late Nanna's nursing home, where things have been cleaned up but no amount of carpet cleaner of fabric freshener is going to rid the place of it and the decor is very dated. The lady owner welcomed us but there was no warmth in it especially as she looked at my 11 year old daughter. As we were shown to our room the smell got worse and even in our room (very generous size) after showering, using deodorants and perfumes the smell was still there. As I plugged my straightners in (travel ones very low voltage) the lights started to flicker. Both me and my daughter spent our evening at the wedding reception wondering if we could stay because of the smell and you couldn't turn the radiators off. In the end we paid up (only because they would have taken the money anyway having already got my card details) and as we booked it through booking.com we were bound by their t's & c's (bad smells not a valid reason for non payment) and drove home. If you're old you will like it I'm sure.

  Clean and tidy with very Freindly proprietor

  stayed for 2 nights the Landlady was great the breakfast superb and the single room was clean and tidy if I go to the next weekender in Bridlington I will try to book in here again as its only a short 5 min walk from the Spa

  Just like home

  I stayed for 3 nights / 2 days. Nice warm welcome and the owner was very helpful. Everything in that place was great. Peace and quite place to be and that is what I like about. There are good places to eat near by.

  Overnight stay

  Lovely little hotel. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The room was bright and airy, very spacious. The hotel is a 10-15 mins walk from the centre and 2 mins from the beach. Lots of choice for breakfast and pre-ordered the night before so everything is ready in your chosen time slot. Recommended.

  Lovely three nights

  After having to cancel Holland due to global restrictions I decided on a three night stay in Bridlington, the hotel was lovely, close to the sea but not on the main road so nice and quiet. Owner attentive but not invasive. Breakfast was lovely and available early for me as I was going on long walks in the morning. For the price I paid it was very reasonable. The only slight gripe was that my toilet was down the corridor, having said that it was a very clean toilet and they provided me with a dressing gown so all in all a very pleasant b&b.
