  Excellent visit to the Bridge Hotel and Spa

  Excellent value for money, Shame the bar had a leak so we couldnt use it. Food was excellent for the 5 course evening meal, afternoon tea was good along with hot breakfast. Maxine was excellent in the restaurant lots of banter. Had a massage which was good and wish we had used the spa as well. Rooms were ok

  Covid stay

  To start thanks to all the staff for making a very difficult situation has enjoyable has possible. Stayed 30/12/20. Dinner/Breakfast Fantastic. Room could possibly do with a couple of maintenance fix re shower hose. But managed fine. Pity hot tub was out of order but was notified before our stay. Overall very enjoyable and we will be back hopefully in more enjoyable and safe times. Thank you Staff & Good luck for going forward. Mark & Amanda

  Christmas Break

  Very nice Christmas break in these difficult times .The staff were amazing everything was no bother always happy and helpful and social distanceing was observed.The Christmas day meal was first class As was all the other meals Christmas presents and card was a nice touch

  A Christmas break

  It was lovely to be received by friendly, helpful staff at the hotel and spa reception. Hotel reception staff were very accommodating when we needed to change rooms to a more quieter room and one with a firmer mattress. Easy and swift transaction. The room was clean and comfortable with ample hot water. The restaurant is a large, and spacious and the food was good and ample choice. We used the Spa over several times over our 3 days stay. Again, staff were helpful and so accommodating.

  Ok stay, didn't have enough time to geat a real feel for the hotel.

  Working a late shift and then having to be in Cumbria the next morning, I unfortunately didn't really have that much time to get a feel for the hotel. It's a good option for a one night stay but there's not much else within walking distance to captivate you if you're going to be hanging around a bit longer. The room and all other aspects of my stay were sound. The room was clean and comfy, there was ample parking, breakfast was ok and the location of the hotel is great if you need to be up and away the next morning as it's just a stones throw from the A1 (but not too close). I paid £83.65 for the night which was not too bad value but no doubt, would be slightly cheaper if booked direct.
