  Enchanting Valentines Winter Weekend

  The Breakwater Inn, positioned in the most beautiful spot on the end of the Kennebunk River, is the perfect romantic getaway. No matter the season, Kennebunkport has great shopping, dining, and activities year round. The Breakwater restaurant, Stripers, has the most warm and decorative igloos ik town, that provide the perfect view for sunsets over the river. Along with the most personable and accommodating staff, especially the General Manager Karl. The rooms are spacious and welcoming, with great king mattresses. They also are incredibly respectful and taking all safety precautions for COVID-19 to make guests feel safe and at home during the pandemic. Cant wait to come back soon!

  Overpriced Disappointment

  My partner and I booked the hotel last minute during a snowstorm. We stayed in the annex section. The hotel overall was a little dingy; the room was a little cramped and just worn out. The bathroom was freezing and there was mold all in the handle. The bed was awful, flat mattress on a piece of plywood and creaked anytime you adjusted. The breakfast that was included was some yogurt and two pastries. Staff was very sweet and helpful. Property just not worth the price.

  Great weekend away

  Definitely enjoyed our weekend away at the Breakwater Inn and spa. The Inn building rooms have a wonderful view of the water. The bed was super comfy and the sitting area overlooking the water great. Cannot say enough good things about the quality of our food at the restaurant, Stripers. We had dinner there both nights having a salad with great dressing and burgers both nights. One of the best burgers I have ever had. Husband said the same about his cheesecake...best he's ever had. Pumpkin french toast was awesome for brunch. Very friendly staff with super service.

  Getaway

  The knowledge, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was A+. The view was lovely, the food was delicious. It was an added bonus to watch the boats pass by in the early morning. Will definitely return.

  Great stay

  I wanted to treat my wife to a nice birthday weekend, so I found your hotel on the internet and liked the idea that it was all inclusive. Check in was speedy and hassle free, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was perfect, I asked for a room with a view of the ocean and river. I must say you did not disappoint! It was awesome! We had dinner and drinks at Strippers, the staff was friendly and fast. The drinks were amazing and the food was even better. Thanks for a great time
