  Wedding anniversary

  A wonderful reception from staff, a complimentary drink with our meal, we both chose from the special board, Smoked haddock risotto and a side of greens, it was delicious. My husband enjoyed it a sticky toffee and date pudding with rum and raisin ice cream. Staff were attentive and never far away if needed. A great evening, thank you

  Excellent

  Had lunch here recently. Friendly and efficient staff, first class service and excellent food. I can certainly recommend the fish and chips. the fish was very fresh. If you're travelling along the M5 in the vicinity of Bridgwater and need to eat, this is the place to head for.

  We made a reservation for a meal and drinks on Friday evening at 7pm, we were met at the front desk and entered our track and trace details and were taken to our table and ordered our drinks. It was a nice atmosphere and we were quite happy and everyone was seated apart by 2m or so and we ordered our meals and as we started eating several more people were coming in but to our dismay a couple were squeezed in between us and another table, this was not good as we were no further away than a metre and the other couple were almost touching, this couple had a conversation with the waitress and said they had driven for six hours and happy to be at the b&b, it was at this point it made me nervous as they could have driven from a tier 3 area.... it was then as well the meal was very salty and we mentioned this and we were told a trainee chef was in the kitchen, well Im not impressed by this point so we paid our bill and left, and very disappointed with the evening and the bower inn I had to leave this review, not a good place to visit at this present time, they need to sort this out.......

  what a great find

  This was a great find, we were in one of the larger rooms, bath in room , wet room too. The flexibility and understanding of the staff was great. The food was amazing, the staff brilliant. A special thanks to Jasper for waiting up for us.. It makes a huge difference being flexible when you have customers with a baby.. Thanks!

  Excellent Food and Service

  Second visit in the last week and I have to say the food on both occasions were fantastic. First visit we had the steak and it was cooked beautifully and second visit the roast dinner which was superb. The service was equally excellent. Well done guys!!
