  Excellent

  We stayed at the Blue Cow on our journey home to Scotland from Europe. Unfortunately we only had a one night stop at this amazing place. What a clever concept. We loved everything about the Blue Cow. It is private, spotlessly clean and provides everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Having been away quite a long time, we loved cooking our own breakfast when we wanted it. Everything about our stay was perfect, we enjoyed a good sleep and our little King Charles was made very welcome too. We would most definitely stay here again.

  A little gem I almost want to keep to myself

  This converted stables is a real home from home. A mixture of olde worlde charm, with a modern twist. I seriously advise a longer than 1 night stay, as it is such a welcoming, warm and comfortable cottage. Breakfast ingredients are supplied and locally sourced. Mila was a lovely host. She welcomed me and I felt at home. I was on business in the area, for 4 nights, so this was the perfect choice. A big, comfy bed, a large lounge with numerous TV options, as well as a good choice of dvds. A kitchenette with fridge, induction hob and microwave/convection oven and a nice, warm shower room/loo. What more could you ask! I rarely hug my host, goodbye, but I really was that impressed!

  Excellent cottage

  My husband and I stayed here this weekend, the owner is lovely,once shown the cottage you are left to enjoy your break. The cottage is really well equipped & is home to home. Breakfast as diy is an excellent idea as we had breakfast at a time to suit us. Really looking forward to returning & would highly recommend the cottage.

  First visit

  Couldn't be any better!

  Loved everything about this stay.Loved the comfy bed , the coffee , the bathroom products , the breakfast the list goes on . Homely apartment has everything you need as well as a very friendly host . Delighted with my find as I may need to use it alot in the near future. Home from Home X
