  Fabulous Afternoon Tea served in traditional china

  Heard it was under new management! Fantastic Afternoon tea all served in traditional bone china all homemade and fresh with the best sausage roll Ive ever had! handmade by their own chef! Light, airy and spacious and all Covid Safe!! Looking forward to our next visit to sample the main menu thank you and see you again soon

  More interested in profiteering from the current crisis than offering a service

  My wife and I booked to stay at this hotel for two nights last Wednesday but on the Thursday the Welsh Government announced a local lockdown for Swansea, where we live, so we could not travel. We therefore asked the hotel for a refund for the two nights we had booked and they refused. This is blatant profiteering and should be against the law! We quite liked this hotel, having stayed there previously, but we will certainly not be booking with them again,

  Atrocious Accommodation

  Not sure what I can say other than this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. No curtain, no bulb in side light, the floor was bubbled and ripped from what looked like a leak, no cups/glasses to make a drink with, tv didnt work, dirty, Hoover and bedding left in hallway (health and safety would have a field day with this place). It was too late in the day to find somewhere else so had to stay, but never again and definitely do NOT recommend it!!

  My stay at the Beechwood

  I booked a four night stay in a fully equipped apartment.Stayed only two nights. Enough was enough. It was not equipped with any type of crockery, cutlery or cooking utensils. There were no curtains, no bulbs in the lamps and no batteries for the tv remote. I asked if this could be resolved. I was given a plate, bowl, cup and glass from the hotel kitchen. I was told that the issue with the curtains, light bulbs and batteries would be sorted on Tuesday while I was out. The laminate floor throughout looked as if it had suffered flood damage as it was all curled up at the edges. The bathroom floor was collapsing around the shower. When I opened the cooker door, the glass stayed where it was. Once this was removed, I found a dirty greasy baking tray. When the fridge was opened, the freezer door fell off. Im not even going to say anything about the cleanliness of the place as I dont have time. The photos shown of the apartment was nothing like the actual apartment that I stated in. Its like they were photos from another hotel. If you require an invoice from them, be warned. It takes a lot of time and effort to obtain one.

  Fantastic place

  Stayed at this place before through convenience and I have to say the lovely new manager,Natalie, has really turned the place around. Fantastic friendly welcome abiding by all safe contact rules, but without taking any of the personal welcome out of it. She was on the ball with any help needed, including holding onto my lost phone and doing her best to get it returned. Lovely comfortable rooms with nice modern decor. I wanted to steal the bed it was so comfy and Natalie was very accommodating with my early check in and late check out requests. Once lockdown is over, I'd definitely return for a relaxing personal trip. Highly recommend!
