  Lovely hotel and great food

  Stayed here for two nights in a standard room, which was nice and large, and had breakfast and dinner on both nights. All the food was lovely. There was no buffet breakfast due to covid but you could order as much as you want and it was all freshly prepared and very tasty. For dinner I ordered a steak and they didnt have peppercorn sauce on the menu but made one up for me and it was lovely. Great service and also in a fab location in Hexham. Would defo recommend.

  Absolutely flawless

  What a wonderful place. Long story, cut short, I ate here (staying elsewhere) 18 months ago with a group of about 30 people cycling coast to coast. Ive rarely had such a good experience anywhere and raved to my wife about it when I got back. So now, we planned a short break away and remembered this place. Do you know that thing when you set a high expectation and go back? It was better. Every part from booking to staying and eating. The room was gorgeous; light, airy, spacious, stylish, comfortable and amazing value. The food was delicious, and good value. I could enjoy everything on the menu but went for fresh North Sea crab, then a beautifully cooked and presented piece of hake served on haricot beans and samphire. Dessert was poached plum, beautifully presented. The staff are wonderful, highly professional, slick, well organised and know what they are doing. Faultless. Just wonderful. Do it.

  The best place to stay in Hexham

  I have stayed here over 3 times in the past 5 years and is always my first choice when staying Hexham. The rooms are lovely and so are the staff. Breakfast is lush, excellent choices. The evening meal (steak) was also delicious.

  Perfect stay for our wedding in October

  We booked several rooms in the hotel for us and our guests for our wedding and everyone really enjoyed the stay. We booked for 3 nights and stayed in the suite with terrace area and it was such a lovely room. Other rooms were equally as beautiful with unique and bespoke furniture. We dined in the restaurant and had breakfast and the food was always amazing. The atmosphere in the bar / restaurant area is lovely, cosy and vibrant. We can't thank the staff at the Beaumont enough for making our wedding extra special after such a roller coaster of a ride to get there during the Covid pandemic.

  Best hotel we've stayed in. FULL STOP.

  Well decorated throughout, Very Clean. Great staff, can't do enough. Not Posh We have stayed in 5 stars all over the word but this is actually the best and certainly not the most expensive. We are moving to the area and will recommend the Beaumont to friends and family whenever we have gatherings planned.
