    5 Star Reviews Say Enough

All previous 5 star reviews are right on! The 2 units we rented were perfect! Very clean in compliance with CDC and local health department recommendations! The kids loved the pool excellently maintained by Cal! Access to the Macatawa CC was a plus ! The golf course is first class and the CC pool and restaurant were exceptional! Nothing negative about our stay here and would highly recommend!

    Amazing stay

A group of us friends (9 adults) and two babies spent the weekend there ( Thursday-Sunday) and it was absolutely amazing. They called days prior and day of to ensure we had everything we needed. There was a binder inside the apartment that gave us all the information about the town, food, expectations for the stay and numbers to call if we needed something. Theres a nice heated pool and hot tub to use as well! The apartment was spotless, especially staying during the covid time. We didnt have to worry at all. All the basics were provided and plenty of space to live in. The view was phenomenal, can see the lake front from the balcony and Is just a few minute walk away. 10 min drive to downtown holland. Karen was very responsive and quickly responded to my texts when I had a question for her. Thank you for the great stay, would highly recommend and cant wait to come back!

    The perfect spot

I recently stayed at the Beach House in Holland Michigan and cant say enough great things about it! Beautiful condo, 8 adults stayed in the Chesapeake very comfortably, garage space for bikes and golf clubs, free golf at a beautiful course, super friendly and accommodating staff, great location for beaching and boating and hiking and bike riding, heated pool at your door step, view of lake Makatawa! We will be back!

    Beach House in Holland Michigan

This is a special place. We stayed in the "Savanah", and it was a welcomed getaway for our family. There are three floors with lots of stairs. Good exercise if you move around. The loft with three beds was a great, cozy place for our three grandchildren. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of utensils for cooking and baking. The view out the front was of Lake Macatawa, and at this time of year covered in ice. During the summer it would be very busy with lots of boats. Staying here includes free golf and use of a fitness center, all off site. If you can get into this resort in the summer you would be fortunate.

Immaculate, with a million dollar view

Pros: - Custom-built condo with a lake view (so romantic from 3rd floor) - Best view of any resort we've had in 20 years - So close to a gazillion restaurants (take-out in Covid was plentiful and delicious) - Kudos to the Crazy Horse Saloon for homemade rolls, good steak, delicious Texas Sticks - Quinn, the receptionist, was determined to make our visit the best - Clean, clean, CLEAN - Not a mark on the walls or door trim - that's almost impossible! - Many more handy items than most gold-level resorts: hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes, DAWN as opposed to Palmolive for those greasy pots and pans, pods for clothes and dishwasher, glass cleaner. - Lots of dishes, hand tools. I cook most of the meals, and I never had to call for anything additional. That's a first! - Decent pots to cook in. Not the paper-thin ones so prevalent at resorts. - Didn't even have to bring my own chef's knives - theirs are Viking! - We enjoyed cc skiing 20 minutes away for only $8/person rentals! - Bannonsburg Ski Resort for snowtubing! - Long walks on the frozen waterfront - but bring good hiking boots (broke my wrist falling on ice) - Holland and Grand Haven shops are delightful - Every unit has its own detached garage. Too small for our big truck, but would be fine for a sedan or small SUV - Wet bar on the first floor and in the master suite! - Waterfall shower - 2.5 bathrooms - no waiting if you're a family! - My favorite part: reclining in the comfy (and quite beautifully upholstered!) reading chair/ottoman in the master suite, right in front of the big wall of windows. Watching the water, napping, sipping a glass of wine, reading... Could have done this the entire week! Con (just two!) If you have weak, elderly knees, these steps may not be for you. One flight up to the kitchen. Two flights to the master suite. Three flights to a teeny tiny bonus room with 3 built-in twin beds, a skylight, and cute wall-mounted reading lights for young children (this nautical bonus attic has no door, barely a floor! - it's supposed to be very open to the master/parents' room on the 3rd floor) If your kids are too small for steps, bring lots of baby gates. Second con: now that everyone's read this, I'll probably never be able to snag another week here! LOL
