  Relaxing Family Weekend.

  We booked on line to stay at the Barns Hotel Cannock as it was within 20 minutes drive to both RAF Cosford Aviation Museum and Cadbury World , both of which we visited . ! well recommended for all ages , make sure you pre book due Covid. On arrival at the Barns Hotel we had a warm welcome to a large family room which was spotless. As we arrived late (8pm ) we had a meal in the Hotel Restaurant which was as the Hotel name implies a Barn Conversion , beautiful traditional and relaxing room and the food was of high standard at reasonable prices. 5/5 The next morning we sat down to a breakfast that could have been served at the Dorchester in London , plenty and a high standard , The full cooked breakfast was everything you needed with my wife having Scrambled egg and Smoked salmon on whole meal bread, amazing well done the kitchen staff . The children had full breakfast too! What a gem of a place , we will be staying here again.!,

  Golden Wedding Anniversary

  Family member booked this venue for my in-laws golden wedding anniversary which has occurred during the Covid pandemic, yet due to the amazing staff and their care of us youd never of known. Room upstairs was set aside for us as a party of 10 of various ages, staff had done an amazing job of decorating the room, food orders were taken quickly and food came out really efficiently. Food was of an amazing quality with a varied menu that catered for all tastes and budgets. I highly recommend the sesame chicken starter !! Steak was cooked to perfection. Was that full I declined a desert, Im not local to the area but will certainly be returning again at some point soon to try more of their menu 5stars !!!! Think the chap looking after us was named Bret and he deserves special mention too

  Lovely weekend

  We stayed here for 4 nights. The room was clean with everything we needed (although it would have been nice to have a fridge) and was cleaned every day and with fresh towels if you wanted them. It was warm, you couldnt hear any traffic, the bed was comfy and the shower was powerful. The location was great. We spent a couple of days walking around Cannock Chase and we drove just a little while to get to Telford. There is plenty of parking on site. Breakfast was included. Good variety of cooked breakfast was available and their fry up was delicious. We also ate at the restaurant on our last evening. We made the most of the last night of the gov help out scheme and got 3 courses for £10. Our waitress, Jenny, was lovely, funny and helpful. Service was quick, the food was excellent and plentiful. Great weekend. Excellent value for money.

  Last minute booking

  Needed a hotel at very short notice. With a good price and nice looking rooms I took the plunge; I wasnt too disappointed. Quick, COVID friendly check in. Room was basic but nice and with all you would expect. Unfortunately, I was too late for dinner but went to the attached pub for a drink whilst waiting for a takeaway. I was less impressed with this. Although plenty of room, there was 8/9 blokes sat at the bar with zero social distancing. I managed to get seated well away, had a quick drink and left. Breakfast - Unfortunately, due to a early meeting I didnt have time to try this out However, the staff were friendly and arranged a takeaway for me, which was very welcome. Overall, I was impressed but with a nervousness on Covid, the bar should be enforcing more strict distancing.

  Phenomenal service, food and value

  Lovely large clean room and cheerful comfortable bar/restaurant area. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is huge if you go for the full English but the staff are happy to let you choose from the items on the menu rather than having to have one of the set options. It is a great base for doing some walking on Cannock Chase
