Don't be fooled by the picturesLocated in the middle of no where, this hotel is like a dirty, uncared for oasis of boredom. The rooms are pretty dirty, the sheets have stains, the floors are dirty, the walls have dirt marks, the bathrooms are dirty, the rooms smell, the pool has layers of slime, the tables for breakfast have never been wiped, it's just dirty. The pictures on agoda must have been taken when the hotel had first been finished, because it doesn't look like that anymore. There isn't much around, a long way from everything, but the bakery down the road has great food. It was pretty much my life supply.

A cheap little haven in a busy streetI stayed here for a few weeks while looking for longer term accommodation in the area. The rooms are small but cozy enough with good cable TV including a movie channel ,wifi in room and air conditioning. Not enough places to put clothes etc as limited furniture due to size of the rooms.Bathroom on the grubby side but hot water and good pressure.Definately not luxury but clean enough and the little plunge pool adds to this stay in this street which is busy with traffic and dusty. It is the best little hotel on this street for the price and they cater for longer term stays for a discounted price.Female owner speaks English but staff do not so unless she is there requests are difficult unless you speak Indonesian.I didn't try the breakfast but there are cheap eateries along both sides of the road at local prices.Night time is difficult to cross the road though. The Arts Centre is 15 minutes walking distance but hotel will order you a metered taxi which is reasonable for shorter journeys.

Nice hotel with friendly staffI had booked for 3 days, but by the friendly and caring staff I stayed for 12 days. Bali Rama hotel is a very pleasent hotel to stay. It's not a expensive hotel and fore that you get , nice clean gastrooms, with a toilet and shower. There is a small swimmingpool to cool down from the heat on Bali. Not evrything wat is on the card they have, buth the owner, Annie makes sure that evry wish off you will come true. The staff is friendly ,but must learn a little bit more English. It is a nice hotel 10 minutes from the beach and with the taxi only 2 euro. This is really a hotel that you must take on Bali. Good price ,good service and clean rooms.

I had nice stayAt the end the hotel is worth the money!! Best location, close to the ATMs and if u are tired enough to wandering around to KUTA, close to this hotel there will be plenty Cafes that will complete the night, you could just reach them on foot. Pros: The room its fine!,you could arrange ur charge transport by the help of the owner, nice location! Cons: lacking great service from the front office. I thought the management did not leave not in FO about all updates, they forgot to update about breakfast service(lucky they had me since i aint big fans of breaky) I have let Balirama stay on my City Hotel List in Bali.

Excellent quality and strategic location, friendly homestay mentalityHaving stayed here for the second time, i am now taking the risk of the hotel beeing overbooked when i want to come back the third time because of writing my tripadvisor review. Let me start off by saying i am from the Netherlands, so i am used to good service, high quality service and facilities. I have traveled through Java and Bali visiting many different, averaged priced hotels experiencing the good and the bad of what they have to offer. I can honestly say that this is the best Hotel i have stayed in and it also offers the best value for my money. In fact its the only Hotel i revisited with pleasure and certainly would visit again. I would highly recommend The Bali Rama Hotel for any tourist or business visitors wanting to stay or pass through Denpasar,Bali. Let me give you a short overview: Location: Situated at the Jalan Hayam Wuruk, wich becomes Jalan Gaja Mada after a short while the location is of excellent strategy. It is very close to Denpasar Kota center, but also just a few kilometers from tourist locations like Sanur Beach and Kuta, approx. 18 km from the high-class Nusa Dua beach resort, if traffic allows just a 40 minute drive (by car, but quicker by motorcycle) from the Tanah Lot temple and also very close to some museums and attractions like the Bali Safari and Marine park. Near the hotels you also will find plenty of Warungs, some restaurants, small shops, ATM machines and conveniance stores like Alfamarkt, Indomaret, Circle K and others. Price: The Bali Rama offers not the cheapest rooms available in Denpasar, but certainly very high quality for a modest price, the best value i had ever received for my money. The Hotel: The hotel itself is not very big, but offers anything you need, the half open lobby has a vew tables were you also eat your breakfast or can enjoy your coffee while preparing to go out to explore the city. They have a fridge from wich bottled water/drinks can also be bought for the normal prices. They even have two small swimming pools wich are very clean. One undeep one suitable for small children and one deeper one, both offering some refreshement when needed. It is almost possible to step outside your room, straight into one of the pools. Also next to the pool are two tables and two sunbeds but situated mostly in the shade so excellent to read a book and relax for a while. The hotel is not a classic building, but feels nice and modern and maybe more important, clean.: The Rooms: The rooms are not very big, but offer everything you might need for a relaxing stay. In the light and cozy rooms you will find and comfortable double bed (single matras), cabinet for your clothing, and a small desk with big mirror. There is a very good working, silent and clean/maintained airconditioning wich keeps the rooms at your desired temperature. I loved the fresh smell when i entered the room and the lightly scented fresh sheets of the bed. Every rooms has its own bathroom wich again are very clean and modern, with hot and cold running water from the shower(good waterpressure too), a modern (working!) toilet and a small sink with mirror. On first arrival you also find some toiletpaper and two bottles of water with two glasses. In the room itself there is an (lcd) flatscreen television wich recently got telkomvision so it offers some international/english spoken channels to be viewed from the comfort of the beds. Breakfast: Everyday you will find an indonesian warm dish in the lobby, together with some bread, coffee or tea. Drinkingwater Hot (for coffee/instant noodles etc), uncooled and cooled is always available from the waterdispenser. Staff/Owner: The young staff is very polite and helpfull and their english is adequate to serve you. I you need a small errand(such as buying something specific to drink or get some cigarettes) they are gladly and willingly to assist you. The owners are a very friendly couple and they speak english remarkebly well, always willing to give you that personal touch and have a friendly chat, as well as giving you tips about the attractions of the surroundings and how to get there. Facilities: Two small (refreshment) pools, TV with english/international channels, high speed internet (Wifi) in the whole hotel, laundry service, complete and nice bathrooms, small but complete cozy rooms with comfortable beds and clean AC. Nice to know: The friendly owners always look for ways to improve their service, for example on my previous visit internet was only available in the hotel lobby, but is now available in all rooms and they are also building a small conference room now for business meetings. I highly recommend the Bali Rama Hotel and would come back here again with pleasure. While writing this hotel review i notice some of the older reviews that speak some negativity about the hotel, wich surprises me. If any of it were true, than i can only guess the owners have read those and improved all those points one by one to satisfy any future visitor, although the quality this hotel was remarkable even on my first visit, almost one year ago!! Trying to think of some cons of this hotel i can only say that maybe the pools are small as well as limited parking area in front of the Hotel. I have never seen the parking area full though, and if so, there is plenty of parking area in the surrounding streets. I am sure you will enjoy your stay at The Bali Rama hotel!
