  Magnifico Hotel

  Este hotel no tiene ni un pero! Increíble servicio de recepción, comidas, botones y porteria. Buenísimas opciones de desayuno y una vista expectacular a la bahía, con unos atardeceres de sueño. Está cerca de lo importante y es un lugar de mucha clase y súper tranquilo. Las habitaciones son excelentes

  So impressed with the BBC!

  Stayed here two nights over New Years and had a fabulous time. I have been to the property many times over the years for various events and meetings but never actually stayed overnight so this was a treat. The valet staff got our stay off to a lovely start with their courteous, professional manner and attempt to go above & beyond. One of them (so sorry I forgot his name) even lugged around multiple heavy heat lamps to where we were sitting outside on the patio one evening as it was a bit chilly. They are efficient and super friendly--especially Jon, Abel and Charles. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays and check-in was seamless. Our room was gorgeous and the complimentary bottle of Angeline Chardonnay was a nice surprise. We appreciated all of the extra space in the bathroom and the plush robes, too. Coffee and pastries at Blend each morning were on-point and the little gift shop has some really cute things. The property is definitely taking Covid precautions (i.e., the staff wears masks at all times, guests are required to wear masks in public spaces, etc..,) but it's not over-the-top intrusive. You still feel like you are on vacation. When it was sadly time to check-out, Steve the bellman was super helpful and personable. We certainly appreciated the VIP treatment from everyone. Even the maintenance/facilities worker who happened to be passing by when we discovered we forgot our keys and were locked out of the room. After this stay, we are definitely BBC fans for life.

  Poor service, does not meet 4-star standards

  This hotel is not really a 4-star hotel especially given its poor service. I stayed at the hotel for 5 days and then planned to book another 5 days, but the manager (Lauren) was rude and dishonest. I asked her if they could extend my stay for the rate that I was originally given and she said they NEVER offer extended rates. I mentioned to her that we were given an extension at the same rate the first time, and then she backtracked and said that sometimes they can offer that if they have low occupancy rates. If that is the case, she should been honest and stated that from the beginning rather than wait for me to call her out on that policy she made up at the spot. Moreover, hotel is a bit outdated and the rooms need some remodeling. I mostly stay at 4 and 5 star hotels and this hotel is probably a 3.5 star, but I would downgrade it to a 3 because of the poor service.

  Nice Place, A Mess

  I hate hotels that say they have a Covid policy they enforce, then dont. Such as this place. Guests flout the mandatory mask policy with no repercussion. Hotel employees are endangered, the hotel doesnt care. Maybe because so many of the employees are Hispanic and the patrons are white, the hotel just adapts to the prevailing racist social order. Wouldnt be the first place. Rooms are nice. Restaurants under construction. You can eat in your room but the room service menu has no wine list attached. The employees scramble to help and are wonderful to deal with. Just wish the hotel and patrons returned the respect.

  Highly recommend

  Beautiful place with a great pool area! From the time we pulled up, the valet/ parking staff was wonderful. Everyone was very accommodating and there was even a complimentary bottle of wine in the room. The rooms were spacious and all had balcony's. We had a view of the street, but that is what we paid for. There was no turn down service due to Covid, but there were extra linens and bags left in the room if needed. The pool area was beautiful and had full service (my favorite part of the resort due to the servers and hosts. Johnny was great!), with heat lamps and fire tables if the evening was cool. Loved the coffee shop. The entire stay was wonderful. Highly recommend!
