  Amazing value for money with great Service.

  We have just visited this hotel and what a little gem of a place. Lovely clean rooms with lots of little extra touches- The hospitality tray was great. The owners are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fantastic. We had the full english, three slices of bacon, mushrooms, hash brown, sausage, tomato and fried egg all served on a hot plate. It was delicious.. There was also toast, orange juice and tea or coffee. There was a selection of cereals, croissant and muffins too. We have stayed in a few hotels in Blackpool but The Astor is going to be top of our list for future visits.

  Weekend Getaway

  FANTASTIC. A absolutely lovely place to stay. Mark and Martyn were excellent host. The room was clean and very comfy. And the price is perfect. Book early as they ate always full. Thank you for a great visit!!!

  Re opening from lockdown

  Just had the most wonderful 3 nights here even thou at first I was feeling a bit apprehensive with covid 19 still going on but Mark and Martyn made you feel 100% safe with safety regulations in place ie sanitisers on check in desk, at the bar and as you go into the restaurant plus they wore full ppe, so anyone coming to Blackpool you have no worries here, thank you once again for making me feel safe and keep up the amazing work

  much needed break away and a surprise for my daughter passing her GCSES

  We booked Friday to Tuesday we were given parking outside hotel as I have a blue badge extra bonus, very close to all amenities too. We checked in very quickly extra precautions were taken for covid 19 a screen at the reception plus hand sanitzers were provided. We arrived in rooms they were great we had premier room my daughter was given a twin room as the hotel was quiet the weekend we were there. There was a fridge provided milk,coffee Biscuits hot chocolate very nice. There were warm fluffy bath robes, towels and extras for bathroom. Very nice comfortable bed had the best 3 nights sleep ever. The CD player the safe was an added bonus. And a great radio alarm clock. Shower was very hot, I liked the sink was a nice touch. The cooked breakfast was amazing one of the best we have had,and social distancing and masks in place. we had one evening meal very nice loads of food chips were tasty portions very big. Martyn & Mark were great hosts anything you needed always went above and beyond or advice on where to go they had the answer especially when bringing your 16 year old daughter with you lol. Extra bonus was a lift needed for mobility purposes. When we come back to Blackpool we will be returning to the Astor hotel. Thank you Martyn and Mark

  Total Comfort

  Deciding to have a break, we booked what we thought would be a cheap, convenient place to retire to at the end of each day. What we got was a smart, spotless, totally comfortable hotel with everything one would desire. A warm welcome from our host, Martin, was just the beginning. My room was extremely comfortable and included a fridge, flat screen tv, tea and coffee making facilities and an en-suite bathroom. Best of all, though, was the exceptional breakfast, which was not only delicious but also substantial. I will definately be staying at The Astor Hotel again.
