  lovely 1 night stay

  stayed 1 night, 2 rooms, 5 people.....amazing staff, food, rooms.. cannot fault.. Andrew was amazing... all staff were very very accommodation. We have some specific food requirements..Andrew and staff were more than happy to go above and beyond... highly recommend!

  10th wedding annivesary

  We stayed here for 1 night to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. It is a very pleasant hotel. The hotel is currently operating with Covid guidelines. As such masks must be worn in public areas. Hand sanitiser at key locations and one way systems in place. This reassured us and we felt comfortable at all times. We were warmly greeted on our arrival and promptly booked in We stayed in a luxury double room. The room was very clean with clear COVID information displayed in the room. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had a spa bath with an over bath shower. We did not use the bath, but the shower had good water pressure and temperature. The bathroom was a little dated, but clean and functional. We had an afternoon tea on our arrival, which was tasty and all freshly prepared on site. We do like afternoon teas and this was up there with some of the best weve had. We also had our evening meal at the restaurant. During our visit social distancing was well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our food was delicious and hot. Good size portions too. We had a restful night sleep in this quiet hotel. Overall our visit we graded a 9/10. Great value for money, Friendly warm atmosphere Tasty food Comfortable bed

  Anniversary trip

  Me and my boyfriend visited the hotel for our anniversary, we had a lovely time. The evening meal and breakfast was good value and very nice, will definitely be going back and telling my friends and family to visit!

  First visit to the Ashbourne We were very impressed with the quality of the food and the attentive staff The room was clean and comfortable and we slept very well Although we didn't have a drink in the bar area it had a good cosy style about it A very enjoyable relaxing stay in pleasant surroundings

  COVID Safe

  I recently stayed here whilst working in the area, as always the rooms were clean and service and staff excellent. It was also great to see the hotel adhering to a COVID safe policy. All meals are by room serviced but a comprehensive menu is offered.
