  Nice hotel - bad service

  Very nice hotel with a great spa area. Rooms looks good and service (cleaning) was fine to. Breakfast restaurant was very good with a fine variety. Dinner restaurant was okay but nothing special. Service was okay but not the standard I expected. Reception area with service guys - dont come in their way. Service guys will walk into you if you are in their way - or drive into you with their trolleys. No excuses - no nothing. Hotel in general I would rate as a 4,5, but service guys is -1 on a scale of 0-5. Combined, its a 3 for me.

  Style over service

  Weve spent a week at the Alpine Palace, and it really is a beautifully decorated and designed hotel. The ski boot room is the best we have ever seen, clean, organised and with heated lockers. The rooms are spacious and kept very clean, such a shame tea and coffee facilities are not provided. However, apart from one notable exception (Karen in the restaurant who is a credit to the hotel), the service we had was mediocre. Staff attended to us at their leisure, and the absolute worst was being charged 6.50 for a bottle of tap water at an evening meal, when we had brought a guest (60 charge for her meal), and had bought wine and coffee for a total bill of 111. We questioned this but met with a total blank, and to be fair it was this lack of understanding which will prevent us from making a return visit, it all seemed rather penny pinching.

  Visited for the wine tasting in the cellar with great Austrian wines

  After a lunch visit we discovered many great wines on the menu. Wine tasting was arranged at a later date by Pascal and what a fantastic experience that was. A true professional with great enthusiasm and knowledge. The hotel looks great but we dis not stay or experience any other areas. This wine cellar was a pleasure to have discovered.

  Nice hotel for skiing holiday

  Very nice and luxury hotel situated next to the Reiterkogel skilift. In the basement of the hotel is a rental shop and ski depot with locker for skis with heating for boots for every room so you don't have to go far with your gear. The rooms spacious with terrace. The breakfast and dinner are excelent quality. Overall the personel is friendly and caring specially Mary from Munich. Wellness is nice, not so big but have everything. Maybe on winter holidays would be crowded.

  Fantastic week.

  Just returned from a wonderful week at the Alpine Palace. The facilities are excellent and the selection of food at both breakfast and dinner are brilliant. Spa is great. Lots of areas to visit- water beds, heated beds, saunas, steam rooms, indoor/outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Will return in June for mountain biking. Thank you.
