  Budget hotel but price not cheap

  Since the floating market is only operated in weekend so the weekend room rate is THB$2400 with breakfast which doesnt worth for their service & room facilities. The cleaning of room is acceptable but towels are not. The drain of shower room is very slow. Hotel location is just in the floating market which is convenient for the tourist. They have own car park but less in space so need to come earlier if you are a car journey group. I stay in deluxe room closed to river side which is very noise until 11pm by the boat engine & music from the band of restaurant. They are very full in weekend so I cant get room exchange. If possible, chose the room opposite to the river (near main entrance) is better. The hotel sell the group ticket of night boat trip to see fly-fires which cost only THB$60/head but it is worth to join as we can see lots of fly-fires as well as beautiful night view of floating market.

  Good location and a nice ambience!

  The market is just right outside the resort (so shopping is less than a minute walk away)... One of the staff was nice enough to explain to us how the mackerel porridge which was served for breakfast should be eaten even though she was holding a pair of crutches...That's dedication

  A bit overpriced for this cozy hotel (not really a resort) but excellent location

  Apparently quite popular and always full on the weekends, so I was lucky enough to get a room on Sunday after a horrified experience staying at its neighbour which claimed to to be a resort as well. In general the hotel is quite comfortable for short stay, due to its location next to the river that is overwhelmingly busy at nights - only during the weekends. When I left the place on Monday morning, most of the shops were closed. So Amphawa is becoming like a tourists' trap, even though it is worth a detour from Bangkok. And this 'resort' is one decent place to stay.

  Enjoyable time at Thanicha

  We stay Thanicha Healthy Resort for one night, nice hotel, nice atmosphere, great service and great staff Breakfast varieties , you can enjoy with local food at here You can walk to Amphawa Floating Market

  Great place to relax and slow down

  The hotel is located in the middle of action. With the front facing the canal, you get to see all. Amphawa is bustling every weekend. If youre not a crowd person, I recommend arriving Sunday mid morning or lunchtime to get the feel of the vibes. Monday morning is like a ghost town unless it happens to be a long weekend . A boat trip is highly recommended. The firefly boat trip which leaves at dusk is a popular one. The hotel room is clean and comfortable with friendly staff and the price is right.
