  overrated hotel

  The hotel is nowhere close to the beach, it`s more like 10-15 minutes walking; the worst is the way back to the hotel from the beach because is a deep slope ...and it`s not like 25 minutes drive to the airport...it`s more like 40-45 minutes. The room was very very basic, just the bed, one nightstand and one mirror. The kitchen was ok, but the furniture was old and rusty. The TV did't worked at all, but for us wasn`t a problem, just saying. As we just arrived, the sink was clogged and someone came to fix it. Hot water stops flowing sometimes. The mattress creaked like hell, as you just move or turn in bed. The balcony had a great view. Although was very clean and was made cleaning everyday, in bathroom stank from drain. The pool was ok. The dinner/breakfast place were also ok with nice view. I won't come again here!

  Overbooked and bad organisation

  We had to stay 2 days in another apartment. And there was a few people who had to do the same..... The service wasn't good and the other apartment was terrible. Sorry but it wasn't okay.... Next time we take another

  Good low budget accommadation

  We stayed here for 6 days. Even though the apartment was very basic, it was clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom was modern. Maybe they should invest in better pillows, but other than that, we have no complaints. The view from the balcony was amazing. The beach was about a 5 minute drive. The airport about 25 minutes. I would advice you to rent a car when you stay here. I'm walking distance you have a small supermarket with very friendly and helpful people working there and also some restaurants nearby. I loved my vacation at Thalia apartments

  Do NOT book your vaction here

  We had a poor educational experience with Thalia apartments. We booked a family apartment for four with one bedroom for the parents and two standard sofa beds in living room for kids. Remark, we were the first customers in Apr 2018. Upon arrival by rental car we were slightly surprised. The apartment had a kitchen with 4 glasses, 3 plates and 2 small pans. No water cooker nor kettle. There was a fridge. Only two chairs and very small table. On the balcony were 4 chairs and sea site view. I believe it was never cleaned since last season. Closet was greasy enough to glue the clothes. Floor was filthy, no cleaning material (eg broomstick). We set down on the bed (itching) and booked another hotel. We left 2 hours later and the staff was not surprised at all. They only emphasized that we would not get a refund, which I never asked nor expected. We drove off and had a magnificent vacation in Crete! Honestly, dont make our mistake. Dont book here. Go to a place with multiple good reviews on TripAdvisor.

  Terrible! DO NOT GO HERE

  If I could leave a 0 star review I would. We booked a room with a twin bed. When we arrived the manager told us none of the rooms had any. The same day our room flooded, little was done to help! Terrible!
