Do Not Book Here - Keep On LookingMy wife and I booked here for 5 nights on a friends recommendation who had stayed here before... Yes we are still friends... but I may not listen to his recommendations any longer! This hotel is Old, poorly maintained, and we found the staff exceptionally Snooty. The best part of staying here was checking out! There are much better hotels in and around Korat at a similar price. Breakfast offered is a 'fixed set' of two choices made on a tight budget. Happily we will not be booking for a return visit....

Decent place that was fine for my short stayThe hotel I really wanted was booked out so I had to find something for one night while I waited on a room at my preferred hotel The Thai inter hotel suited me fine for an overnight stay Its a decent family run hotel with clean rooms and the staff are OK but don't speak much English and the majority of people staying here looked to be Thai business men and woman. Its not too far out of central Korat but there is not much else close by (walking distance) so a Taxi would be needed to go anywhere. The price I paid at 900 Baht was OK for the standard of hotel and breakfast was included and the free Wifi worked OK I think for 1 or 2 nights this is quite Ok and is probably slightly above average for a small Thai family run place under 1000 Baht

Inexpensive but goodHad to overnight in Korat unexpectedly and found this hotel near Big C. Prices start at 300B and we took the 350B with two beds and a fan. The room was nice and there was a chair and a seat which is unusual. The bathroom was nice but the shower could be better.

A good hotel, 20 min walk from the centre with good value for money.Positives Friendly staff with limited English, good sized room £15 per night including breakfast. Negatives No lift. Breakfast limited. A distance from the centre. Very old TV with below average reception. Details The hotel is situation a 20 minute walk from the centre. I used GRAB taxi service which worked well and usually paid £1.50, or a local shared van for 20p, or walk. I stayed for 3 nights for a room which included breakfast. The latter is fixed juice, tea/coffee, toast and jam plus a plate with salad, 2 hot dogs and 2 fried eggs (hot if you ask). It is decent enough be obviously there is no choice. The room had a desk, a wardrobe for clothes, a king sized bed. There was the usual bathroom and a very TUBE TV with below par reception but plenty of channels. Wi-Fi worked well. The staff helpful and friendly with few speaking some English. The air con worked well and a fridge was provided. It was quiet and I slept well. There was NO room safe. Overall I would recommend it with 8.5 out of 10.

Nothing specialThere was no one to help with my bags when I arrived. Not very welcoming. No one showed me to my room, which was on the ground floor. The room was a reasonable size and was clean. The towels and bed linen were also clean and white. Everything worked to my satisfaction except the shower. There was no hot water. The bed was comfortable, and I had a good night's sleep. For the first time in my travels around Isaan, there was BBC World News on the TV. Hooray !!!! The wifi was weak and a bit slow. There are a few restaurants near the hotel. For breakfast, I was offered the American breakfast, which I accepted. It was fine. Cooked to order and hot. I am not sure I would stay here again. Service was nonexistant, and the hotel was rather dull. Khorat seems to me to be rather a dull town, perhaps because I had just come from Khon Kean, which is so much more lively.
