  Large, quirky hotel. Ideal for Italian families.

  My son (9yrs) and I had a weeks stay at TH Pila on a skiing holiday. The reviews are pretty accurate: Good food (buffet style); pleasant service; quite busy at main meal times; nice fresh coffee service at breakfast; holiday camp style entertainment each evening in Italian. Most popular with Italian families. Slope side hotel - ski in and out. Decent hotel for snow sports in a well prepared ski area. Were advanced skiers and boarders and found plenty good pistes and terrain to keep us entertained. Thanks

  Great for kids not for couples

  Stayed here for a snowboard trip with a Crystal holidays package. Slightly dated hotel that has had a refurbishment. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms have enough space to hang all your gear. Boarding in and out is via a bit of a flat spot but manageable. The main issue we had was noise. The kids club attracts a lot of families and the design of the hotel carries the noise. Avoid a room near the stairs if you can. An internal door in the room would really help with the noise. The food was nice but not amazing. Good range and some different for each night. The dining room is vast. It could do with a few soft surfaces/dividers to soak up some of the noise or one section being adults only for a bit of quiet.

  Great place for families!

  Fantastic stay with amazing food! This Hotel is a great vacation place for families that want a great place in the forest. The personnel is always helpful and the ski room is brand new. Only a few minutes from the pists to the lunch room and again out. Take the all inclusive, a real deal!

  Amazing location for skiing and great food.. but shame about the narrow, crowded restaurant

  We have just returned from the TH Pila as a group of 12. Having stayed in The TH Madonna last year for our ski holiday and were very impressed we chose another TH hoping for the same but we were slightly disappointed by the TH Pila, it is just not as nice and even though the food is very good, the dining area is far too small and narrow and very busy and loud. We also found one member of the restaurant staff to be incredibly rude, we did complain about him because of the rude way he spoke to us. We didn't let this spoil our holiday and had a fabulous time in Pila which is a beautiful place. The Ski in/out is a great bonus and the locker room is directly as you come in, so another advantage particularly when you have young children. Would recommend Evolution Ski School for children or adults lessons. We booked ours before we went but they do have a desk in the hotel.

  Great location but not much more

  First off its in a great location. Ski straight onto the slopes and there is car parking in the tunnel outside. Food is a buffet but its fairly good and there is plenty of it. However, the beds were very uncomfortable. The rooms were noisy with no fire doors in the corridor to stop the noise from the hall and other floors. Door left in a lot of light and noise so it was hard to sleep. The staff were mostly a bit disinterested. We asked for a table sat together, and had email confirmation that this would be done. However, on arrival at the restaurant we were told that it hasnt been arranged and couldnt be done. The manager then told us it was not his problem. Everything has an extra charge. There is pool which is free but it costs 2.50 per towel and 2.50 per hat. Everyone has to have one and you cant bring your own. Lockers for skis are 7 per night. You arent allowed to take skis to the rooms. And, on the last day, you have to empty the locker by 10am so you cant even leave anything there while skiing. When paying over 200 per night I expected more.
