Restaurant - tasty Thai foodDecided to give the restaurant a go and I was not disappointed. The Thai food was very delicious and quite reasonably priced. The restaurant is located quite deep in the soi which meant it was nice and quiet. I will certainly be back for more. Yummmm

They host parties with prostitutes in the dining room, no hot water and no wifi, don't stay thereI arrived here at 130am because of a delayed flight. I walked into reception and the first thing I saw was a large group of men being served by half naked prostitutes... not what I was expecting to see in a "boutique" hotel! I went to my room to settle down for the night and have a shower. No hot water in the shower and wifi in the hotel wasn't working! I went to sleep and woke up the next morning to try and find the manager. I was told there is no manager to talk to by a member of staff who could barely speak English. When I finally found the sheepish looking manager, I told him the complaints and all he could say was "sorry sorry", I told him if he couldn't compensate me somehow that I would be leaving a terrible review, I don't think he understood me either. I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights, waiting for my flight on the Sunday. In my 2 days there, I didn't see even 1 other customer even though Agoda.com said there were only a few rooms left, that must have been a lie and false advertising! The hotel looks nice but it is run by people who just don't care. For quite an expensive hotel with good reviews I was extremely disappointed. I don't like to leave bad reviews but this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Thanks for nothing Tewa "boutique" hotel.

This place lack management to ensure customers satisfaction! We thought we were going to spend a nice weekend in an authentic Thai villa in a beautiful garden. BUT, after a sleepless night because of a problematic air condition fan and a following cold shower due to lack of hot water (we wanted to clean of rat poop that we stepped on in the floor and in general the room/villa was very dirty) we decided to move to a Grand Deluxe Room. This room was also dirty but actually cleaner than the villa. In both places we did not dear to use the roof fan because we could see how much dust that was on the fan blades. And if you ran the finger over a surface anywhere in the rooms it became black of old dirt and dust. The garden also looked very beautiful! BUT, after a short walk we started noticing trash and tin cans lying around under plants and in the "brown" waters/rivers. I also noticed that loads of the flowers in and around the garden were fake plastic decorations! It seemed to me that most things in this place was not maintained and should be better taken care of! Most employees here understand or speak just a tiny little English which leads to many problems and make it difficult to have a pleasant stay. The night guard became impolite and unfriendly towards us. Another couple had the same experience. They helped me to complain in the reception as they already had done! We will not return!

Tropical Oasis in BKKLovely traditional style Thai hotel. Wooden houses, elegant gardens. Authentic Thai food. Helpful staff. I stayed in the Double Deluxe room for 4 nights while attending a conference. American breakfast (Eggs, toast, bacon, salad, coffee, orange juice) was served every morning. Room was very clean and comfortable. I read some bad reviews, however I think it is important to remember, this is to experience a Thai style wooden house and Thai food. A rare find in BKK! The restaurant closes early, 8pm so make sure to eat earlier as there is no local mini market around. The food is amazing, a real taste of Thailand.

Arrival hotel near DMK airportWe rented 2 adjoining rooms for the night after arrival in Bkk airport, leaving the next day to Hanoi the next day from dmk airport. We are both 39 and traveling with 2 children, 4 and 6 years old. Tewa is a nice hotel in a wonderful relaxing environment , the rooms are spacious. Family rooms are not available, however this was not a problem. The staff does not speak English, we managed via our smartphone. The restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices. However, this is not a holiday location, just an in good between hotel... not a 5* place. The rooms would need an update, the aircon was a bit leaking, the electricity is rather old fashioned... but the beds are good and the sheets clean :) the pool is not skimmed and thus not very clean, this should be improved ! I read negative reviews about the garden, I think the garden is nice :)
