  Good, clean, comfortable

  Good, clean, comfortable accommodation in a relatively remote, quiet and pretty location. Loved the pool and surrounding views, did need a car as too far from Castel del Piano village/town centre to walk. Village/town centre well equipped for shopping, eating and drinking, great choice of places to visit within reasonable journey time. Air conditioning would be an improvement as would more onsite leisure facilities e.g bar, TV, particularly given the location. Owner really friendly and helpful.

  A bit out of main stream tourist travels, but

  An exotic old castle on a wine farm, with an extraordinary friendly host and hostess. Good price, nice breakfast, and luxurious dinners on demand. Very clean, and you can have a wine tasting experience and a tour on the vineyards. Go there! Enjoy!

  The best

  Lovely place Very clean and very easy to get, put Google's mapping and come straight to the gate The landlord Alberto charming person Kind, nice, greeted us with a big smile At the very beginning gave us a map of the area with explanations of nice places for a walk The place is very clean, towels, sheets and plentiful, the shower clean and simple rooms excellent heating Highly recommend

  4 days over New Year's eve

  The residence Terre Gialle is a residence with various apartments for 2-6 guests in a very quiet area of the Tuscany countryside (close to vineyards and hotsprings). The closest village has all the basic services and few restaurants, and the surroundings offer a larger options of service. We were 9 friends +1 baby +1dog scattered over 4 apartments. I arrived at t and my reservation, booked through Booking.com, could not be found by the desk manager. So I was brought by after 30 mins to the owners, who in fact did not manage the reservations through the website. Finally the desk manager remembered where the reservation was and I entered the apartment. We were nicely reminded to be quiet and to be careful with the dog, since it was the first time they accepted pets (although on Booking.com it was clearly said pets were welcomed). The two apartments at the ground floor were extremely cold and tough to get warm. But honestly speaking the apartments were cosy and well-equipped, fairly clean. Not much more to highlight, apart a small pond with two white gooses. Overall our stay was OK but not impressive at all.

  Summer holiday

  Terre Gialle is a well maintained agriturismo in a secluded spot in Castel Piano. The last one and a half kilometers is an unpaved road that ends reasonably steeply. There are a number of well maintained apartments with spacious rooms that are very clean. The kitchen is well equiped and everything is very neat. Unfortunately, most apartments have no terrace and you cannot sit outside anywhere. On the property there is a nice swimming pool which is closed in the afternoon and in the evening and is therefore not accessible. The owner is a very nice man who does a lot for his guests and every day he is looking for contact to see how you are doing. You definitely need a car to explore the area but also to go to the village in the evening or elsewhere.
