great stopoverJust about an hour from the ferry at caen this makes a great stopover if you are travelling in Normandy. We arrived late with no booking but the owner could not have been more helpful. I was a bit concerned about the wear on the stair carpet but our room - 9 was immaculate and had a great bathroom. Did not eat there but looks like it does all the traditionnal norman stuff. Nice breakfast and coffee and we were on our way. Room was great value for 68 euros -after all it is a logis. Just down the road is the very impressive basilica - well worth a visit.

OK hotel and restaurant open on a Sunday !I have used this hotel on many occasions when returning home from a trip to Le Mans after the 24 hour race. It is not far from either Dieppe or Le Havre. The hotel is one of the few that opens its restaurant on Sunday evenings. The rooms are small but good enough for the star rating. The proprietor is always pleased to see us and welcomes us when we arrive. The service in the restaurant is OK but the food is very good for the price. Breakfasts are not inspiring particularly for the price. The bar is not well stocked so we usually go to the bar next door for a few drinks before our meal. Given that we require a meal on a Sunday evening we will continue to use the hotel, otherwise we would probably go somewhere else.

Overnight stop.A very good overnight hotel with free parking.A few minutes down hill walk to town and just a few minutes up hill to the Basilica.(must see.) The room on the 2nd floor was very large with a good sized bathroom. It was spotless. The evening meal was excellent. The staff were very pleasant. This is a good reasonably priced hotel not too far off the motorway. Woul'd stay here again j

Short stay convenience! The position of the hotel is perfect, it has space for parking a car which is a real bonus. My room had a balcony with table and chairs, comfortable double bed and more than adequate shower room. The only down side for me was the very mediocre breakfast priced 9 - not worth it! (Very good cafe's down the hill Costa being one of them!)

Fawlty Towers on SteriodsWe were exhausted when we found this place and can confirm its Tripadvisor rating as the worst rated hotel in Lisieux. It must also be the worst hotel in the Logis guidebook, which is saying a lot. It is absolutely awful. It is very run down and on a noisy road. The old carpets and a greasy smell greet unwary guests. Our room was above kitchen which had a radio blasting and a horrible odor permeated into our bedroom which made one retch, especially in the morning. It had unusable wifi, foul smelling blankets and a dangerous, super filthy shower head. As a final insult, without asking, they added 19 euros onto our bill for unwanted breakfast and refused to refund on the next day. This hotel might have been a pleasant place once but it should have been booted out of the Logis hotel chain long ago.
