perfect relaxationFrom the moment you enter you are met by friendly faces and made to feel welcome. Same in the restaurant where the girls make you feel just that little bit special. Food and choice very good. Treatments good, only criticism perhaps they should use soft towels instead of sheets and have an area to relax in after mud treatments. And in this day and age essential they have WFI in all the rooms. Decor of hotel just a tad dated and boring but great if you like brown!

Fabulous, great staffI selected this hotel among several because of the kindness of the staff that attended me by phone; and I have not been deceived! The facility is kind of vintage, but the staff is for sure the best element of the hotel: kind, smiling, helpful, calm and open. In particular, the staff handling the "thermal mud" and giving the massages has been professional, discrete and receptive to the chaning needs I had during the thermal treatments. The thermal treatments were a true experience, always starting on time, and every guest had a single room where to relax and feel at ease. The swimming pool is cozy and clean, provided with a lot of whirpools. I definitely recommend this hotel and I hope to come back there next year.

A better alternative in Abano TermeThanks to everyone who reviewed this hotel before. It helped me to make my decision. I do have some updates from earlier reviews. One earlier review said that there was wifi only in the lobby area. I stated on the third floor in a comfort level room and there was strong wifi. The staff were great (like was reported in other reviews). I stayed at one of the other hotels earlier in the week and I rated it a 3. I was wandering around town and saw this one and decided to switch even though it meant wasting the day I had left already paid for at the other hotel. Why? This hotel is of a similar vintage but it has been renovated in ways that improve the visitors quality of stay. The pool has been completely renovated with new tiles and the installation of new features, for push button water massages in various forms: a double recliner, personal alcoves, benches, overhead showers/waterfalls. Many if the water features are designed to be enjoyed by more than one person at the sane time. At the last hotel there was a single recliner that was very popular and one had to be patient and also mindful to be courteous if someone else was waiting. Also at the other hotel the pool closed at 7 pm. At this hotel the pool closes at 11 pm. There also seems to be a wider range of ages at this hotel. Some families and some retired people and everything in between. When we were considering switching hotels, we went to the man at the front desk who spoke perfect English, and he showed us a couple of rooms: one standard, which is a little less renovated, still with the wood parquet floors, and for only 5 euro more, there is a comfort level room with carpeted floors and a little larger bathrooms. At the last hotel I could feel the springs in the beds but at this hotel the beds are very comfortable. We opted fir the comfort level because the bathroom in the standard room was kind of tight. When we checked in, the woman at the front desk also spoke perfect English. I booked a standard relaxation massage. The massage room was renovated and clean. The masseuse was a man, and he spoke Italian, German and French but not English. The 50 minute full body massage was great but obviously in my case there was only some very rudimentary chit chat. I opted only fir the breakfast option, but you can also elect for full board. Because i did not eat lunch or dinner at the hotel i can not comment on that; there are so many great restaurants in the local area. As far as hotels go in Abano Terme, I know that there are more luxurious options, but I am glad that I made the switch because compared to the other hotel that was in the same price range, this hotel is much, much better. I hope more hotels follow the lead of this hotel and upgrade their facilities to attract the next generation of patrons.

Except the pool the hotel and amenities were a total disappointmentThis hotel need a full remodelling. Dirty terrase chairs, very old bathrooms with rusted faucet and key, dirty walls, thin like paper doors, heavy door keys (you can cause a permanent damage is you drop it on your toes). I would definitely say thatnhere we had the worst breakfast ever!!! All the products were cheap and little. Such a pitty for the restaurant as it looked had a great potenial. Old loom but seemed like had a glorious past. Very important: management pictures are not accurate at all. The entire hotel requires a young, modern touch. It is very good located and from the outside street it loom good. But that's it. Btw: the swiming are was nice but on the our last day one of the jacuzzi are broke down. As a plus the bartender (a senior man) was doing his best and was a real pleasure to order from him.

Nice Location, AgedThe hotel has a 1950s charme, with aging infrastructure and old fashioned interior. The stairwells are not very clean and the whole place would benefit from a general overhaul. The pool area is very nice and clean.
