  Couldn´t be better!

  If you like to spend time in the countryside in Sicily you could not possibly find a better place to stay than Tenuta Stoccatello! Giuseppe and Nicolette are great hosts, the place is charming and the restaurant - were Giuseppe is the chef - serves great food. The view over the landscape and the sea is stunning. If you come to Stoccatello you most like arrive by car and with that you will have easy access to many interesting places, for example the charming city Sciacca and the archeological site at Selinunte. We highly recommend Tenuta Stoccatello!

  Vacaciones maravillosas

  Este agriturismo es muy agradable,los propietarios excelentes personas muy amables y serviciales siempre dispuestos a servir con agrado y dedicacion,el Lugar es muy tranquilo y relajante..y muy limpias sus habitaciones asi como todas sus areas de disfrute.la oferta gastronomica es perfecta con deliciosos platos tipicos de la Sicilia. Recomiendo este agriturismo en gran medida.

  Overall average - 2 stars because the breakfast is a real let down

  Tenuta Stoccatello is located on a hilltop in the Sicilian countryside approx. 15 min's from Menfi. The site is very quiet and location on the hill offers a great view over the beautiful Sicilian countryside. There's always a light breeze which is very comfortable in the hot Sicilian summer. However, already upon arriving, the Tenuta gives the flair of a slightly run-down place that has had its glorious times. The slide in the small playground is broken and you could see dogs had relieved themselves in there. The houses could do with a repaint. The room was small for a family - 2 single beds were added left and right of the master bed. Although equipped with an air con and TV, the room and bathroom were basic and average for an agriturismo. The pool is right behind the guest-room building and oversees the landscape. The pool is clean and spacious and clearly the highlight in the place. The small bar is open in the afternoons and offers drinks and ice cream. The air conditions are mounted right outside the rooms' only windows, which makes it quite noisy in the evenings when all air cons are on, but after all you could live with that. The real letdown for us was the breakfast buffet. It basically was made of frozen (baked-up) croissants, one choice of fruit and apart from that products from Penny market (a German discount supermarket chain comparable to Aldi) and Italian discounter EuroSpin. You can tell for sure because the supermarket brand was printed on the products. The juice drink was not fresh, although nearby Ribera is well-known to be the heartland of fresh oranges. In one of Italy's best known regions for its delicious fruits and food production, at the peak time of harvest season, we really expected a much better breakfast - given that one the reasons to travel to Sicily is the food and we chose an agritoursimo hoping for their products. In the town you could buy water mellons, peaches, apricots and other fruit really cheap. We would have definitely put that in the breakfast instead. Judging from the breakfast, we didn't try the dinner. Overall, it was bit disappointing given that we have been in the area before and had more pleasant experiences more or less for the same spent. Definitely we will not return to this place as it is.

  Young couple mode beuzay

  The room was very nice and clean, and the area and landscape from the hotel are amazing. We were a bit disappointed of the breakfast as some products were not local, for instance the honey that was industrial (from hungary and ukrania), knowing that it's an agriturismo.. we also didn't know that the restaurant was closed the evening we were there, but we also didn't ask in advance. Still it was a nice stay there

  Superb setting, very peaceful - lot of vineyards to walk along Old farm, austere setting, spartan decor Average food & wine Very temperamental WiFi Poor service off season - maybe better in summer if you can suffer the heat Need to find a better aggriturismo next time
