Authentic Toscany - Fantastic holiday with family and friendsThis was our second time at Tenuta Quarrata. No wonder guests keep returning to this small agriturismo with 18 apartments in different sizes. Mercella (who owns the place) and Silvia (who runs the place) are very hospitable and helpful. They have started upgrading the apartments which is needed. This year a cocktail night was on the programme. Making different tasteful cocktails. And twice a week you have the possibility in participating in dinners at Tenuta Quarrata. The pool is 25 m long and you will always find a vacant lounger. (Not like when you are on charter holiday and have to fight for a lounger). The pool is open 24/7 - which is nice.

Terrible experience - never ever againI spent two days and one night. It rained during the day and there were very heavy rains all night long. To our surprise, when we arrived to our appartment (number 4) to go to sleep it was totally flooded. The walls and the stairs where full of wáter, which was leaking from the roof. One of the beds (my bed) was totally soaked, so I couldn't sleep there. Due to this, not only we had problems to sleep in a dry bed but my Mac was broken due to water getting inside the keyboard. Next day we showed the owners and tried to agree on an economic compensation. Not only they refused but they said they don't have an insurance so they couldn't compensate me for the Mac reparation. I have never experienced such a terrible customer service in my life. When I tried to contact them a few days after, they even denied the events. So I definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Running a business like this without an insurance is very irresponsible and risky for customers.

Lovely and Authentic Agriturismo - Perfect place for weddingWe spent here 3 days for our wedding and several weekends during the preparation for this event. It has been like a dream thanks to Tenuta Quarrata's personnel. The place was clean and authentic, the swimming pool is a perfect place to relax and chill. You'll enjoy the calm and silence for a perfect sleep. I firmly recommend this place.

Lovley stay!We spent a week here with another family. Everyone was very happy. Quiet and peaceful with very beautiful surroundings, both within the area of the accommodation and nature around. We had apartment no. 15 which was big and nice, dishwasher which was very nice. We lacked an oven and AC, had it been there we had top scores. Our friends lived in apartment no. 1 which was a gable apartment on two levels, 3 bedrooms and a lovely patio where we all took most meals. All the staff were very nice and accommodating, a bit difficult with English but we managed to understand each other anyway. We wanted to check out later which was no problem whatsoever since the room was not booked for new guests that day. The pool was wonderful, cleaned very carefully almost every day. Quiet and nice, no loud music, no "activity leaders" who wanted to have one on activities all the time - the top !!!! It was very restful to lie on a sunbed during the olive trees and read a book. One tip is to walk around the area after dark, and watch the fireflies, really cozy! We had wished to participate in the dinners which the accommodation arranged 2-3 times during our stay but unfortunately they could not arrange it gluten free, otherwise we would have been there, it looked very cozy and nice! Very likely we will return! THANK YOU for a great week!

The lovely Sylvia made the trip worth while! We were 3 families traveling together. Clean, well lit and close to the places we wanted to visit. Rooms: the standards on the apartments varied some. We rented one of the bigger ones (nr 8) which didnt have any mosquito netting on the windows in the living room. This resulted in us having a rather interesting mini zoo in the kitchen and living room which also resulted in us paying for a 3 bedroom apartment but could only use 2 (since no one dared sleep on the couches in the living room). The apartment had space for 8 ppl but only knives and forks for 4. Then again we had 12 Prosecco glasses :) Meals and drinks: Excellent simple dishes which pleased everyone in our group from the age of 4 to 44. Outdoor area: Nice swimming pool with an excellent view of the sunset. The kids had a brilliant time there. Just outside the dining area they have a ping pong and soccer table our kids used frequently. Service: The one thing pushing this from bad/average to quite good is the service, and especially the service provided by Sylvia. She helped us on many occasions with reservations, travel tips etc. (in the mornings when I sat outside the reception working online, she passed me a steaming hot americano with a bright smile and a good morning!) Oh, and the WiFi could have had a better radius. Dont get me wrong, I love the americanos, but since we didnt even have cell reception in the apartment, I would really love to have WiFi.
