DisgustingStayed for a week. On arrival in the apartment it looked nice.. Until we looked closer.. omg.. Never again dirty pillows we went out and bought our own, lights hanging down with exposed wires in the bathroom, staples sticking up from the bed base, sockets with 'live' written on them, only half the lights working, no virgin TV or WiFi as advertised, sofa bed bust had to prop it up against the wall, the walls were minging, bath taps were loose, mould.. Everywhere in the shower room and bathroom, the wardrobes are ready to fall to pieces very unsafe, curtains have never been changed in years, light switche in one room was in the wardrobe, shower door hanging off, exposed sockets, all the dishes were dirty. Druggies sleeping in the bin shed and going through the bins offering residents knock off deodorant. The maintenence guy Barry has only been working there a few weeks and went out his way to help us in any way he could most days the poor bloke was still there at midnight trying to keep the place running if it wasn't for him the place would fall apart. Look elsewhere for a place to stay a place that's clean and fit to stay in.

Cheap as chipsI have stayed in a few boro cheap places and this isnt too bad. You get an email with the door codes so there is no reception you just get in which is very quick and efficient. You get a bed. Good wifi and a kettle with coffee making stuff. You get your own bathroom which many £45 per night dont give you. Right in town too and you get parking. Remember its not bad for £45.

Needs love and attentionI booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 adults and 2 children for a 2 night stay for a family party nearby. We received our door codes a week beforehand and it all looked great. After a 5 hour journey we turned up to find a double bed and 1 bed! The communal stairs had seen better days. The apartment on the whole was spacious and clean but not cared for. Marks all over the walls, tiles missing from kitchen floor, broken sofa bed, a tv which took ages to work and a dodgy shower screen in the en suite. We had different family members staying in 2 other apartments, their rooms were the same. The whole building felt it was used for workers who just wanted to sleep and grab something to eat. The guy on site was VERY helpful but he looked so tired. The location is great but the whole building needs some love and attention and it would be very desirable. Such a shame as it has so much potential.

AVOID! Unsafe place - serious breach of fire safety regulations!Poorly maintained and violates fire safety regulations: 1. No smoke alarm inside the apartment 2. Smoke alarms (two) missing In the corridor just outside the apartment. The base plates were there but the detectors were absent. 3. Several lightbulbs missing from sockets 4. Inadequate heating. I had to ask for a portable electric heater. 5. Poor Internet connection and speed 6. Poor staff support: unavailable during out of office hours. They provided a mobile number for this, but no one answered despite numerous calls Would not return or recommend!
