  Good but not enough

  This little hotel is situated in a small quiet village right on the beach. Excellent pebbled beach, clean waters, and with facilities for changing and showers. A couple of small shops selling local produce as well a few good taverna's with good friendly service and reasonably priced. Lovely surroundings. Escaping from the haste of the modern life. The lady at the hotel who took care of us was very friendly. The room was basic but clean. The swimming pool was clean and my kids enjoyed it. We were only there as BB. The breakfast was basic. But boiled eggs served everyday and they were delicious, from local farms. I would like to have seen some more locally produced food on the breakfast table such as local cheese and yoghurt which are excellent in that region. The hotel itself lucks personality and care both in the common areas, as well in the room. Dodgy Greek electric sockets and missing bulbs. However when we pointed out the missing bulb in the bathroom, it was serviced immediately. Booking tip: Call the hotel before you arrive and try to explain your situation. We had booked a 4-bed room, as we are a family of four, and we only stayed for 2 nights. If we had called them directly they told us that we would have been given two interconnected rooms. This option was not available on the booking web site which is a shame. Overall I would go back again, as it is the only hotel so well situated in this lovely area.

  Quiet and lovely

  Have just spent a few weeks in Tavari. Beautiful, friendly and quiet enough to really relax. Great for families and couples alike. A few very nice tavernas, a couple of café bars and mini-markets. Surrounding area is amazing, mountainous and stunning.Don't recommend for serious partying but do recommend for serious relaxing. We had a wonderful time and will be back again.

  Family friendly and awesome

  This is a really great hotel with clean, nice size rooms, a great pool and a super friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. The premises are nice, access to the beach, food and cafes just a few steps away. I highly recommend it for families.

  What a beautiful place to stay!

  Had such a lovely time staying at the Tavari Beach Hotel this past June-July 2016. The place was clean and the pool was very inviting on such hot days. The Agean Sea was right across the street from the Hotel - very convenient. The sweet lady who ran the hotel while we were there (forgot how to spell her name) and her dog "Ari" were so welcoming and very attentive. I would highly recommend this Hotel to stay at if you are ever in Lesvos.

  Dreadful - beware poor service and lack of wifi

  I had a reservation through booking.com. First they try to make me pay more than I booked for; then (even though the website says there was wifi in public places) the wifi wasn't working - which I needed for work. They would not let me cancel the booking without paying a cancellation charge. I advise you to avoid.
