Very bad, worst, terrible, Nasty, Horrendous, Disgusting, dreadful and many more- please read the review before booking.I have booked a suite room for Jan25th for 1 night and when we reached they offered us a lower category room with stains in bathroom when we complained that this is not the category of the room the manager said the heritage suite wing is closed due covid which they never updated to the travel agent. After our long discussed they offered us Maharani suite where the TV and internet was not working and then offered thr Maharaja room where the bathroom was completely stained and when ask the manager for the same he said its due to chemical and he cannot help in that and then he offered a Ramata suite which was stinking very badly and lastly we agreed for the lower category of the suite where we knew we have been cheated by these guys already. They took almost 1 and half hour to get the room ready and we were waiting at the lobby in cold and that point of time my wife lost her cool and then the manager got our room ready and also the tea which which ordered 1 and half our back. The best things was the manager was trained very well to say sorry for everything like an idiot. So finally we got the room and we slept hoping things to be better after such a tough day but no there were more horrific things to come. In the morning the hot water was not working and we asked thr manager he said the geyser is not working and it will take 2 hours to get this fixed and above all the water was coming yellowish in color when asked the manager he said it is because of the tank and you can keep the water running for 1 hour and you might get the clean water wow washed our face with bislery water after paying these idiot 10,000/- for a night we got this which is shear non sense. The only thing I can say is the property is beautiful but you need to carry your TV, your internet, your geyser, your water tanker, your tea maker and all. While checkout I asked for the emailed for the owner he said he don't use the email and when we forced to get the contact details of the owner he shared the contact number and when called the owner of the property Mr GP Acharya he said they don't have enough staff for this property and my question is if you don't have the staff then why you opened this property or you have only way to cheat your guest and give them the horrifying experience, I think government should ban these of property who only cheat their guest and I request you guys of you had such experience come forward and share the same as these kind of properties should be shut down for sure. If you really going to ignore this message and going to get book by your own risk and trust me share your experience if you are happy which I doubt for the same. WRLCOME GROUP YOU GUYS ARE SPOILING YOUR NAME BY STICKING TO THIS HORRIBLE PROPERTY.

Charming property in a superb locationWe were here for a family celebration, and we couldnt have been happier with our choice. The hotel itself is lovely, and the new wing specially has very nice and well appointed rooms, but highlight are the sprawling gardens all around, perfect for morning tea or lazy walks. Also the close views of the Dhauladhar range, especially in the morning. The staff is very warm and made an effort to accomodate our requests. The food was very nice, with a good selection of local and regional dishes. All in all we had a wonderful stay and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this hotel.

old world comfort and hospitalitywe were a family group of 35 there for 3 nights. its a wonderful property with the original palace building converted into the comfy vintage feel . the baby food just adds even more to the experience . view from most rooms is of snow covered mountains . the only hitch we found all over in himachal was hot water geyser capacity. for some reason they all have small geysers so be prepared fr quick baths. rooms have heaters . roomservice is quick. again very helpful staff. location is apprachable easily even by by a bus . so thats a plus .

Nice peaceful worldFor those who don't plan a action packed holiday - this is the place. A medium sized heritage property that you can soak in and relax at. Day activity cm be visits to Gopalpur zoo, temples, tea gardens, bir-biling at driveable distance. Palampur has some great eateries too. Back to the property... Thumbs up to Mr Bharat and Mr Sanjeev who manage the property. Humble, helpful and always trying to accomodate. The entire staff although operating at less than half strength presently, are doing a great job. The property has a badminton court, swimming pool, anteroom, a nice bar and a separate restaurant. You can hire bicycles to ride in and out of the property. Plenty of spaces for leisurely walks and old pics of the royal family. Food choices are plenty and delicious if you are not a fussy eater. Try the mutton khatta-meetha which is a local delicacy off the menu. Also the himalayan trout which is a HP delicay. Plenty of birds - parrots, eagles, owls to see early morning. Story goes that the parrots were introduced by the royal family. On a clear day you can watch the elegant Dhauladhar range. People who want to look at the snow peaks from their rooms and need extra cots or have more than a couple sharing a room, should go for the palace wing. Personally I like the heritage wing as the rooms are small and cozy. Highly recommend to those who want peace, relaxation amd time for themselves.
