  Good service with a smile, always!

  We arrived quite late on Friday but was still greeted by the friendly receptionist. On the 1st night, the apartment was cold as the heaters were not working well. The next morning, we informed the reception & before noon, the house master came to fix the problem. The breakfast was great with varieties! When the scramble eggs was finished at counter, my daughter asked for more & the staff even brought it all the way to her plate before replenishing it at breakfast counter. I think this is good service! Overall, the room & hotel facilities are basic, but service is great!

  Quaint, Charming Hotel

  Hotel Garni Tannhof is a wonderful small hotel located on a quiet street in Obertsdorf. The hotel is older, and the furnishings are somewhat dated, but this gives the hotel a very charming and welcoming feel. The room we had was very spacious, and very quiet. The beds were comfortable, everything worked, and there were nice little touches such as a welcome tray of coffee/tea/water and incense. The hotel has a small sauna and a medium size indoor pool that is open 24 hours/day. They also serve free snacks in the evening, have a full continental breakfast (for an additional charge), and have a bar that hotel guests can access 24 hours/day. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable about the area. The only negatives were that parking was tight, and you might get blocked in if someone parks behind you on the street. Also, there are only about 8 garage spaces, so if they're all taken, you need to park outside (which may be hard if it's snowing). The hotel is located close to the downtown area, and about a 15 minute drive from two or three ski areas. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend the hotel to anyone.

  Excellent!

  We had a wonderful stay at the Tannhof. Great hospitality, great breakfast, great afternoon cake & coffee, rooms very large, warm and comfortable, and fantastic views. We are looking forward to visiting the Tannhof in the future again. Thank you!
