  Excellect accommodation but the food is not good

  The hotel is good the personnel are very nice, I was greeted by the GM at the reception which was a nice touch. The security team was very friendly. The check in was swift. Even the rate of exchange I got at the hotel was better than anywhere else i Checked. So for such services I would say Bravo. Then I got to the room, the room was a decent size with good space. The rooms are truly nice clean and comfortable and are designed properly with a nice olive green theme. The bathroom is very nice and modern but was unfortunately too small compared to the size of the room. Overall I would give the room 4 stars. The room service was also quite good. As the hotel is located slightly out of town I didn't bother going out for dinner and stayed in the hotel. The food I will say is average. Nothing to brag about. I was specially disappointed in the restaurant as it is rated the #1 spot to dine in Erbil. I tried the mezza plate and the Arabiata pasta which was nothing to brag about. Neither was the other food I tried at the hotel. I had better food out side so I wouldn't rate it as the best spot to eat. The worst part of experience was the breakfast buffet, it was awful there are all these shiny chrome serving dishes and hotplates with nothing in them. It was like playing find your breakfast. The juice was from the pack, the bread was old and I can honestly say that it ruined my perception of the hotel. I am just amazed how a place like this cant get their breakfast buffet in order. Now I am not one of those picky eaters with weird requirements but this time I really have to complain. So this is why overall i would rate this hotel as 3 stars. Excellent accommodation, terrible breakfast. I really hope for the management to sort out this issue. As it brings down the overall rating of their establishment. Best of luck!

  Good value, friendly treatment

  It's my second time here at the Tangram, and I will come here again. Rooms are clean and silent, the personnel friendly and ready to help. The restaurant at the top floor is not bad, but it offers sometimes a limited choice. I was booked a small suite (230$/day), but after a while my company decided it was better to stay longer and save a bit with a normal room (99$/day). The staff decided to upgrade my accommodation, so I could stay in the suite anyway. Very appreciated

  lovely stay

  Lovely stay, again, in Tangram hotel. Mr Ali Khan and all the staff, are kind and professional, as usual. I will be back. Food is excellent, rooms are quiet, everything has gone very well. I will be back

  So far so good.

  This is my first time to visit there.After i check in,the receptionist spoke English quite good.But the decorations look old also the building.For the pool was small,it's not good for swim.Overall was medium.

  Great place to enjoy the sun set over Erbil. They also do movie nights. On my side, I took a good burger. The meat was good and it was fresh. Only thing, the rate for Dollars to IQD is absolutely bad, better to pay in IQD than dollars
