  Good roadhouse stop for Maria Island

  We stayed here for one night. The motel is just off the main road about a 10 minute walk from the little town and harbour with its ferry to Maria Island. It provides standard, clean motel accommodation in a room with tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, a bathroom with walk in shower and parking outside the room. There was a portable fan for cooling. We couldnt hear any road noise from our room. Breakfast was provided in a dining room with cereals, bread for toasting, hot drinks and juice.

  Meals

  We stayed there for two nights it was a nice place to stay but the meals were very nice and I would recommend it to anyone well worth the money and the staff were really friendly will stay there again and definitely eat the meals there next time we are in the area big nice place to visit

  Tandara great pub meals

  We have a shack in triabunna what a great seaside town We frequently visit tandara for a counter meal Never have we been disappointed in any meals over the past year This hotel is a bit dated but fantastic staff and top cook Sad to see a review with critics about lack of people in car park we walk there !! We love our local pub best $17 porterhouse with sauce in The state

  Basic

  Warm greeting on arrival. Accomodation very basic, room smelt stale on arrival, poor ventilation, only one window opens but close and convenient for the ferry which is why we were here. Very little to do in Triabunna apart from visit the island

  Great Place to Eat

  We went to the Tandara Motor Inn for a meal, and we were not disappointed. We walked to the hotel, and upon entering the bistro, we were met by a very pleasant young woman who showed us to our table. She explained the specials, took our drink orders, and then left us to decide on what we were having, she is a good asset to the hotel. Our meals were large and very tasty, and we rated them highly. We would certainly recommend this bistro to all, and we were lucky not to be put off by the other review.
