so close to old hill town but so far from realitysee my photo first. a great base camp to relax at after touring tuscana all day. very central to so many wonderful places. staff multi lingual and very helpful with tuscany sights to see, local restaurants, etc. also great to have breakfast in your own apartment and sample all the yummy food you bought the day before. there is a great COOP (grocery store) in town. you can grill (provided) and eat by the pool and then have a nice bottle of wine (so inexpensive!) and a sunset swim. you can also walk just a few blocks to the historic hill village.

Amzing place, great service, and central locationStayed here mid July for almost a week. It made a great base to visit Tuscany (visiting Siena (30 min), Florence (45 min), Monterrigiano (15 min), San Gimignono (16min) Montepluciano and Pienza (Val Dorca) (1 hr) and Rome (2:45min) Like others have said you feel like you are in the country side but you can quickly walk to the old part if you wish walking by new homes. You can go buy fresh bread daily in the old town. Coop is a bit further down below the old town - you can get by driving thru main street of old town (non ZTL if you go straight). We had an amazing VILLA (1) just next to the office. It's HUGE with huge living room and nice dining area with nice old wood table and modern convenience (except dishwasher). The vaulted ceiling were amzing. I felt like I was in a wine cellar as it was 35 degrees outside but nice and cool inside. There is a nice King bed in the bedroom and a pull out bed in the living room. Its so spacious The grounds are beautiful with the pool being the highlight with lots of chairs and nice clean good size pool. Take a bottle of wine and enjoy the Tuscan sun. Enrica was amzing in helping us and mapping where to park. She even started calling friends and printing out stuff for us when we said we want to go to Rome. She goes above and beyond but at the same time tries to give you space and is low key. As these are villas, you are stuck with same sheets and towels all week. They can do laundry for you but it's by the weight (5 Euro per Kg) This place used to be a monestary then converted to farm then now to villa. All villas are configured differently and some on higher floors which I would think would be very hot in the summer months. There are tables and bbq for use in the common grounds. There is plenty of parking too. Wi Fi was weak in our room despite being next to the office. Wifi by the pool seemed stronger. In off season the rates are low and in high season they seem reasonable compared to other villa. Very satisfied with our stay and would not hesitate to recommend. Yes there are some more scenic ones with views of rolling hills but these ones are usually in the middle of nowhere and do cost much more. Here you are close to civilization but fell in the countryside when at the villa. If you want to feel like a local go to the piazza at the bottom and have a espresso or gelato at night

Amazing Tuscan villaLovely quiet spot in walking distance to the old city center. The house is a tipical tuscan villa and it was amazing to live in during our holiday. We spent a week in Toscany, perfect location to explore the area! There is a super swimming pool! It was great to jump into the water after a long day spent with sightseeing. Enrica, the owner, is amazing! She gave us many tips, where to go for sightseeing or what to see and where to eat. Enrica made our holiday very special!

Tuscan HolidayWe stayed for the second week in September. There is plenty of easy parking. The lady who ran the apartments was very friendly, spoke English, and supplied us with local maps and showed us restaurants and places to visit. Our apartment was on the ground floor with seating outside. It was very basic. The bed was not made and whilst the bedding was clean it was old and the towels were thin. The bed was comfortable. The shower worked well. The kitchen was limited, the grill did not work and there was no toaster but a very good sized fridge. At night we had a couple of beetles in the bathroom. Internet worked some of the time better outside than in. The pool was a lovely size but cold and there were weeds growing in between the paving stones. There was a fig tree which you were invited to help yourself to the ripe figs. You do need to take insect repellant. The local bakeries only sold the dried local bread but you could drive to the Co op where there was more choice. The old town is a ten minute walk from the apartments. The apartments are in a residential area. It is not touristy at all. There are several restaurants in walking distance. It is very popular with previous guests and not far from San Gimignano . The apartments are not open in the winter.
