Outdated & rough around the edgesThe property seems catered to families with its spacious rooms and ground activities for kids to run about on or canoe around in a 'moat'. We stayed one night during Vietnam's 40 years post war anniversary week so the place was full of local holidaymakers. Too bad the hotel didn't appear prepared to cater to such a crowd during breakfast. It was a scene out of a zombie apocalypse with empty food and drink offerings, uncleared tables, people milling about aimlessly for a grab of anything edible and I wouldn't be surprised if the employees were hiding somewhere till the madness was over. I couldn't locate them so we didn't even get coffee. I ran away with some baguettes though. WiFi worked everywhere (good job, Vietnam!) and like I said the room was spacious. However, no amount of embroidered branding on linen and personalised tissue boxes can replace the importance of the existence of fresh bedding and clean towels. Being barefoot indoors also led to dirty feet. I did quite like the Flinstones-esque wall in our room.

You should not trust the photosWell. The staffs were friendly and enthusiastic. The general size of this resort is really large. I think it is the largest one in Thuan An beach area. The rooms have good design. It is kinda cosy and also very unique. Nevertheless, the pool sucks! It is small and not very clean. There are some troubles with the drainage in the bathroom. Don't get too angry ok? Wifi sucks! I have to stand on the balcony to connect it. One more thing is the distance between the hotel and the beach is about 2km. There would be a shuttle bus picking you up. Don't worry unless you forget something in your room when you have come to the beach already. For me, I don't like this style because I always desire a wide sea view in front of my eyes as I wake up. So... In conclusion, I just want to tell you guys that we should not totally trust on the photos on the Internet. Everything looks amazing due to advertising purpose. Thanks for reading my review.

Good place but no managementWe have been this place more than 15 times in the past.It is situated nice location, very good rooms, good views, great facilities. The sad part is can't see management involvement in any areas. We see the same problem is not fix every time we go but still we love this place. They charge a reasonable amount but no service there and poor breakfast quality. The staff is not train to do the job. They just do their normal routine and ignore the guest requests. They have a swimming pool, offer buggy cart service for the private beach, a spa and some nice ares to relax. I hope owners will open the eyes and do some changes this will make the revenue and profit up.

Just beware, not what was sold to us...Firstly, the location of the hotel shown on the map in the hotels.com app is incorrect. By 7 miles outside of the city. Still not sure if this is the app or the hotels error but not the best thing to find out after a 13 hour train journey. The location is useless for exploring Hue which involves several taxi journeys. Then when we got to the resort it resembled a abandoned town, eerily quiet in the middle of nowhere. Later, we were unsurprised to discover we were the only guests in a 74 property resort. This led to slightly overbearing service by owners who were probably shocked to have guests. The room was on the borderline of acceptable, there was a level of disrepair and green mould in the bathroom. But we resigned ourselves to one night before moving on. After spending as much of the day as possible in the city centre we returned to the room. Knowing that we couldnt venture out again without taxis we settled down for a quiet night. When we found the ants in the bed we swept them away and tried to chalk it up to adventure. Then we spotted the cockroaches and knew we had to move on and write off the cost of the night. We then went to the reception to inform them of our departure where they tried to charge us despite providing evidence and refused to call a taxi for over 15 minutes while they waited for the director. What a relief to finally escape! Avoid at all costs, theres cheaper, better and less awkward in central Hue.

DO NOT STAYDo not stay here. None of the services advertised exist. The pool has shut The restaurant does not open apart from breakfast The bar/cafe shut and was stripped on the 2nd day of my 8 day stay. The spar has been shut. There is no shuttle service as advertised. The internet had been turned off. I tried talking to the staff about it and they thought it was funny. The place is like a ghost resort and no one around. Absolutely pathetic stay, my parents were staying At the Ana Mandara a few kms up the road. I recommend that.i would have checked out and asked for a refund if there was anyone to communicate with
