  Okay but....?

  For the price, all in all, it's good. But concerns were: driving from the right of hotel, maneouvering the entrance was a little difficult because managers BMW parked out front, fridge had to be adjusted to get cold, blinds were damaged, many scrapes and veneer lifting on the furniture etc., hair dryer broken, and every morning at 9:15 while sleeping the "cleaning ladies" would bang their trollies into our adjacent wall and be my alarm clock, "guess it was time to get up!" But floors were clean, bathroom cleam and bed was clean which made it acceptable. Wheel chair friendly, manager was to the point and business like, and grounds seem to be clean and well kept with flower pots etc. We might consider here again !???

  Would stay again

  I would rate this hotel between average & very good. Although it is an older style motel, the rooms have been renovated. Everything was spotless with "hardwood" & tile floors. There were both a microwave & fridge in my room. It was very quiet & noises did not transfer easily between rooms. I am very sensitive to smells so I found there was some kind of odour in the room which I couldn't pinpoint, but leaving the window open for 2 days was not successful in eliminating it. This smell, which could be from cleaning supplies, was the only reason I didn't give this motel a rating of "very good". The price was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. Breakfast is not included, but there is a restaurant next door which served a decent breakfast for about $10 when juice or coffee were added on to the meal ($6.50 for a standard breakfast of bacon, eggs & toast, $2.25 for juice). The restaurant is open all day until 9 PM so lunch or dinner could also be purchased there.

  Jacuzzi suite

  Two room suite, tub with 2 easy chairs and fireplace and large tv, and the other room with king bed and the bathroom. So really 3 rooms. Fridge, microwave, and wine glasses on the fireplace. Very clean and quiet. Great for romantic getaway and day trip to Point Peele National park.

  Spotless, homey and affordable

  We arrived at Talbot Trail Inn to be pleasantly met by a young man at the front desk. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was spotless and included a sofa, desk with chair. Queen size bed was extremely comfortable and all linens looked brand new. When we went in search of a corkscrew, the front desk went above and beyond to find one for us. Our party included 4 other couples. One of the other quests' room was huge with a jet tub and king size bed. ..... they got to host the rest of us for cocktails before the wedding!

  We will be back!

  Our hockey team booked family day weekend. The kids played mini sticks in the courtyard. The owner is very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are very clean and freshly renovated. If were back in the area we will definitely stay here again.
