  Lovely place, clean, well thought out...just a few things

  Firstly I would like to say that we enjoyed out stay immensely. We were down there to celebrate my 40th birthday and, for that, it was perfect. We travelled with our little girl, 2.5 years old, and she enjoyed it lots (so many pools to choose from). We have lived in Thailand for 6 years so we understand how things work. However, at this price, we did feel they could have ironed out the little issues. Firstly the pump for the jacuzzi wasn't working so we had a technician come up and "fix it". In reality he did the Thai engineer thing of saying it is fixed and wandering off. Another 2 hours of filling the system from me (very low pressure) is what is actually took. As I say I am used to this but we were on holiday not renting this as our home. Then this morning the pump stopped working for the water in the villa. I found a technician very easily and got it fixed. It would just seem to me that they are taking their eye off the ball a touch and letting things run down. My guess is that this villa hadn't been occupied for a couple of months and nobody did an inspection of these 2 water systems which they really should have with a paying customer coming in. Finally check-out. There is no mention anywhere of the cleaning fee. It is so small it is almost negligible but it is bad form to just "surprise" people with it on check out. It is SO small (B100) you do kind of wonder why they bother when you are paying B3,200 and up per night. None-the-less that was 3 very small issues but ones that I feel you shouldn't really have to deal with for the price. We did enjoy it but feel that, with a small child, we would be better served by another place in future. This isn't really a "resort" but a VERY nice holiday home complex. We would go back there again without our little girl. It is not her fault but there were better equipped places nearby that would have suited us better. For a couple.....ideal!

  Extremely nice houses, pools and especially tours in the national park was a great experience. Good restaurant in the resort as well as on the beach. Especially ThaiThai is very special and cheap at the same time.

  Perfect Hideaway, with everything you Neef

  Appartement hotel with single houses, verry well equiped, with kitchen,separated bedroom,livingroom and rooftopjacuzzi and BBQ. The swimmingpool is large enough to have a great morningswimm and is located Just in front of each appartement.the Resort is verry quiet, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful Nature. The stuffs are verry friendly and the Manager ( Mr. Pong ) speeks English very well.he helped us a lot with advises for tours arround this area. The Beach , i guess 500 Meters away from the Resort is more a place for Dinner than for a beachholiday. The area arround is great, Not to busy and really special because of all the mountains and caves. Our stay in Talay Tara Resort was awesome,even if we had a few raining days due to the lowseason. I will defenetly come Back again!! Katy

  Wonderful resort

  Very beautiful and relaxing resort just 400 meters from the beach and good restaurants. Big Swimming pool with baby area in front of villa and jacuzzi on the rooftop. Staff is very friendly! We will came back!

  Cosy resort with few tourists

  This resort is located some 500 m from the beach. It has 5 blocks, each with 12-15 houses with 1-3 bedrooms. Each house has a roof top terrazze with spa bath, and each block share a pool of 50 x 8 meters. There are plenty of good restaurents at the beach with very compettetive pricing. At the resort you can rent motorbikes and tour the area, which has many spectacular sceneries. Hua Hin is the nearest bigger city only some 40 km away. A great place to relax, enjoy good food and life in general.
