  I wish my house was this beautiful.

  We walked in the door hot and tired and immediately the smell of lavendar and the sound of running water made us relax. The rooms are spotless and the free tea service in the afternoon is wonderful. And the lovely park next to the museum is yours for wandering on quiet evenings or a run in the morning. Only one caution: you'll need to make arrangements for dinner. This is my second time at TCE resort and it won't be the last!

  Great home base for Taitung cultural excursions

  For visitors who want to experience the indigenous culture and beautiful sites of the area, this is the most comfortable home base I could think of. First, the hotel is located next to the National Museum of Prehistory, which is the most comprehensive national resource for Taiwan's indigenous culture and history. From there, excursions can be arranged into the mountain villages to experience more. The rooms are clean, the beds are soft and comfortable, and the food is surprisingly outstanding.

  Bit on the Edge

  The location just past the edge of town may be a negative. It is though next to the museum. As we pulled in after sunset the hotel appeared to be in darkness. But to allay our fears the doors opened and the lights came on. The room was of average size and was in average condition. The bed was fine and the bathroom functioned well. Breakfast was ok without being spectacular. The wifi worked well and it was a pleasant stay.

  A nice and warm hotel

  The hotel itself is part of the Pre-historic museum in Taitung. The room is cozy with everything you need while you are in journey. They provided afternoon tea and breakfast during my stay. The afternoon tea is a bonus, as it really fresh me up. I would also recommend them as they provided very delicious breakfast buffet and the food are all prepared nicely and hard-working, comparing with the breakfast I had the day before in a five-star hotel, this one is definitely a win! I would come back again and strongly recommend to people who would like to stay. Ah! By the way, it is not too convenient in terms of transportation. However, if you drive there, they provide car park for free!!!!

  Perfect location for the museum and airport

  This hotel is out of town but as we were particularly interested in the museum (amazing) and were flying in, this worked for us. The room was a great size with good bath and aircon. The breakfast was smallish in choice but did the job. And it's in the middle of the heritage park so the grounds are lovely. We ate lunch in the catholic organic farm across the road which I would recommend.
