  Very dated, needs improvement

  This hotel is very dated -it should have been renovated twenty years ago.... Mold in the shower, the bathroom overall not really clean, no shampoo or shower gel provided. It is located by a very noisy street, so you feel like you are sleeping at a bus stop. Horribly hot in the room - and the heating could not be turned off - the only option was to open the window - to the very noisy street... breakfast very basic. I would not expect so poor service in Austria.

  Dated but still a nice place

  I am a coach driver from the uk. I do European trips alot of the time. This trip was a school group. This hotel is dated, but its not bad by any means! It is clean. Its a family run business. Kevin, the owner is brilliant. His mum also is very kind and helpful. I had no problem with any of the staff. They speak good English too. Parking is right outside the front. I read a comment on here about not being able to turn the heating down. There's a tap on the radiator! Its lovely and warm, if its too warm turn it down and open the door. Not rocket science! I would be happy to return again when its not a business trip! I can't say the same for everywhere i go.

  Value for money - good stay near Reiteralm ski-lifts

  We were here for 2 night during Christmas holiday for skiing in Schladming. Hotel is old fashioned (obsolete) but clean and offers everything you need for your stay during skiing season. Service is OK. Breakfast are also good. Sauna is small, but we were here alone, so we were satisfied. Restaurant offers dinner. Menu is typical Austrian and meal is good enough (more average than good). In Mandling there are not a lot of choices for dinner. Parking is free and there is a lot of space for parking in front of hotel. The best thing is location. Hotel is less than 5 minutes by car from one of Schladming ski-lifts - Reiteralm. Reiteralm is (for me) the best place in Schladming for skiing. It offers a lot of long lifts and slopes in top quality. I recommend this hotel for budget stay in Schladming near great ski-slopes.

  Ski trip in Schladming with friends

  I was here for 2 nights with friends for skiing in Planai resort. There were clean and cosy rooms. There are all the things you need during the ski trip. During breakfast, I missed any kind of vegetables and it was the only thing that I missed.

  Disappointing

  - rooms with old furniture, no fridge in the rooms, smell of mold everywhere - towels old and damaged - no shower gel, toilet paper almost finished , no garbage can - tv set old and few programs - breakfast with food of very low quality and cheap, from supermarkets, no milk, no cereals, no eggs, no youghurt, only cheap ham and cheese slices. - the owners were watching all the time the guests during breakfast, like the policemen -lack of respect for stranger guests, especially for romanian guests I don't recommend this hotel at all... wastevof money. -
