  Stunning location, peace and privacy, but not a luxury resort in the traditional sense

  It took some getting there, but to some extent its worth it. Without doubt, Tadrai's location, views, peace and privacy are perhaps without equal. However, I agree with other reviewers. This is not a luxury resort and appears expensive for what it is. The service is friendly and attentive, but it over promises on the luxury in its advertising and the reality when you visit is something less as its very back to nature and basic.

  Honeymoon

  Tadrai was the most perfect place to spend our honeymoon of ten days in the most peaceful, stunning, clean, and comfortable paradise. The staff team constantly went that extra mile. We loved the beach location, the tidy and beautiful villa that combined traditional art and craft with the new - the last night cocoanut milk bath and lobster dinner was amazing. The boat trips were a wonderful included surprise and the food was excellent. We will be back

  TADRAI THE PERFECT ESCAPE

  What an amazing 7 days we spent at Tadrai beyond our expectations. A Birthday celebration that will never be forgotten ! What a team the pampering and friendliness was just perfect. You can do as little or as much as you like with superb tropical surroundings and stunning views. The sunset cruise and the time spent on a private island were great highlights we will certainly return a big thank you to Nancy and all the team.

  Honeymoon

  We went for about 6-7days in October for our Honeymoon and my birthday. The staff made an effort to make us feel welcomed and looked after. The resort offers a range of activities included in the price. A more organised method of activity booking is required as there would be times when a change in time or cancellation of an activity would not be communicated to you. The rooms were beautiful and clean. We were in the hillside villa which was private and had a gorgeous view. On our final night we were spoiled with a candle lit milk bath. The food and alcohol (mostly local spirits) was standard and we were expecting something of a higher quality for the price we had paid. We had to arrange that the staff go to the main island to buy proper champagne for my birthday at an additonal cost. This was a shame and we were disappointed with this aspect of the resort. As this resort comes with a high price tag, the owners should focus on food and alcohol. Overall, it was a lovely experience. The staff were welcoming and always avaliable to assist.

  Paradise

  Have just spent 5 nights at this wonderful resort. Perhaps the most peaceful and relaxing holiday ever. Strongly disagree with many of the negative reviews about this resort. Having travelled to some 31 countries and stayed in some of the best resorts in Australia this one is definitely up there. But one must remember its Fiji. It isnt Australia some some small allowances need to be made. The food is not Michelin star but its quite good. The drink and cocktail selection is great. The ambience and serenity of the location make up for any shortfall. Only 5 villas and all private and secluded. All meals can be had in the room if you wish breakfast lunch and dinner. The view from the restaurant is amazing. And the infinity pool devine. The lobster dinner and milk bath on our last night was spectacular. Nothing was too much trouble. On day one we checked in with our transfer helicopter at 8.0am so it was like an extra day. Then got to stay until 4.30pm on check out. No extra charge and full use of facilities. Staff amazing - so relaxed and helpful. Special thanks to Vashtenka nancy and Weiss. Plus all those in the background we should have got time to know. All amazing. Thank you we will be back
