  OK but.we wouldnt return.

  We have just returned from a week in this house. First of all, just to say that it was ok, but we were disappointed. we booked with Premier Villas, our second villa in this village with them. The first was excellent, and as such this one was disappointing for the following reasons. Not as described. This villa is described as being new which it certainly isnt. Photographs online are not recent - I would say at least 5+ years old. The pool has had a makeover but tiles were falling off. The sanitaryware in the bathrooms has also been refreshed within the last couple of years judging by the grouting/sealant, but the cisterns, shower fittings etc are old. The kitchen is also old. The villa has three bedrooms, but the descriptions do not say that the two ground floor rooms have lockable doors to the exterior and are not part of the main house, albeit they open to the pool. This made sleeping difficult for us as I wouldn't leave my child alone in a room not part of the main house and hence the main bedroom was unused. The bedding, sheets and towels are very old an threadbare, and badly stained. The beds were very uncomfortable and none of us slept well. Noise. The owners villa is next door, and their other rented villa is on the other side. The noise was awful, from the owners villa and rented villa, but also from the surrounding dogs which seemed to howl all night. Only the noise from a floor standing fan provided some white noise to drown it out. We booked this villa as it had a good outside area and this didn't disappoiint - apart from the 6 sunloungers of which three were broken and ripped and hence unusable. All that said, the owner was friendly, and the villa appeared to be clean although the colour of the sheets made it difficult to tell. We would certainly not return.
