  Worst , Pathetic and Frustrating

  All positive reviews are paid ones. This is the worst hotel i stayed in. Rooms, Service and Staff everything is worst. The rooms are very dirty and stinking a lot. No geysers in any room and hot water timings were there from 7:30 to 10am and that too in cold chilling winter. Most of the photos were fake.

  Great Visit to Nainital

  We spent a long weekend at the Swiss Cottage. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. As soon as we arrived, they made us feel welcome by inviting us to join them for brunch. They even offered to drive us around Nainital and help us get to different locations including the lake and Naini Peak. The highlight of the hospitality came in the evening when we were invited to join the owners and their friends and family for a small Diwali Party around a campfire. The property itself is full of all of the charm and coziness you could hope for - including personal touches in the garden and terrace making it the perfect spot to relax in the sunshine. This was a wonderful weekend getaway from Delhi, including opportunities to go sailing on the lake, visits to the nearby bird sanctuary and hiking, and absolutely delicious home-cooked meals, made-to-order for breakfast, lunch,and dinner. We can't wait to go back for another visit, and we highly recommend Swiss Cottage to all who are headed to Nainital!

  Worst stay .. they are pathetic as they say its pet friendly but they leave their dog open letting us unknown (acc to them its dangerous) which attacked my pet in extreme heart failure condition.. my dog got injured and is in pain till now .. useless staff

  Great Stay in Nainital

  So we had to be in Nainital for some work and my father told is about this hotel. We reached there and really liked his choice. The hotel is located away from the hustle bustle of Nainital which and has decent mountain views. We were given rooms on the top floor, the rooms were cozy and the windows opened to a nice view. Bathrooms are in good condition. The main usp of this place is the outdoor sitting area, totally loved it. They have a bonfire setup where you can sit and enjoy your drink in the evening which we did. We also met the owners when we were sitting outside and they were very friendly and polite. The food was good, not too heavy on masalas, dont expect typical restaurant style flair. We ordered appetizers with our drinks and every dish was good, only thing is it takes around half hour for the kitchen to dispatch the order so order a bit in advance. For the main course they also obliged us with a late dinner as they close their kitchen around 10. The quantity was more than enough. All in all it was a great stay for us. Sure things can be improved but then the charges are sooo reasonable that you really cant complain much.

  Worst hotel

  It was worst experience in this hotel I give them - 5 star they don't know H of hospitality, u will find much better rooms in five hundred bt they even don't deserve 100 rupees rooms are very smelly unhygienic dirty , staff was very rude and unprofessional they miss behaved with our driver no parking facility or driver rooms in this third class hotel , do not Even think about this property , one of worst hotel in Nainital
