  Muy buen comienzo de viaje, Mucha calidez.

  Bettie nos recibió con mucha calidez después de un largo y cansador viaje. Las habitaciones son muy comfortables, sin gran lujo pero muy agradables y limpias. El baño es muy amplio y bien decorado. Lo mejor del lodge es el entorno, la tranquilidad que se respira, con jardines muy lindos y la pileta que invita a zambullirse, ambiente relax. Bettie fue muy amable y nos recomendó lugares para recorrer y cenar. También nos dejó decidir el horario del desayuno ya que teníamos 5 horas de diferencia con Argentina y estabamos muy cansados. El desayuno es ESPECTACULAR!!, de mucha calidad y variedad. Es un lugar al que definitivamente volvería.

  Friendly Hosts

  Jan & Vivianne our hosts were so friendly . The rooms was lovely with a well stocked minibar. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit and juice. Good location . Highly recommended. Stayed in November 2020

  Very accommodating and relaxing!

  This was such an amazing stay! It was relaxing, clean and it felt secluded even though it was on the edge of town. The hosts were absolutely so accommodating and friendly. I truly was treated like a queen. Anything I needed they were so happy to help. I would definitely recommend staying here if planning a trip to Swellendam. I know that is where I will be staying anytime I go back!

  Incredible Hosts - the No. 1 Guest House in Swellendam - So Relaxing

  They say first impressions count. When I spoke to Vivianne to enquiry about the accommodation I knew this place would be good and they didn't disappoint. The booking process was seamless with good email communication. The rates have also been adjusted to cater for the local SA market and our poor rand-based wallets. Well done to them for this. Situated in the best part of Swellendam on the main road when you arrive in Swellendam it is well situated within walking distance of some good restaurants. When you drive up the driveway into the tropical paradise your stress levels immediately drop a notch. Parking is off-street inside the property. Each room has a small stoep with outdoor table and chairs. Rooms are modern afro-style and with all the amenities including a fully stocked yet well priced mini bar with beer, wine chocolates, soft drinks and crisps (great for a midnight feast). The room also has a small safe, as well as recently renovated bathroom, SmartTV, DSTV decoder, hairdryer, candles, tea/coffee station with rusks and battery powered light. Also to mention everything was super super clean. Ceiling fans in the room which work well. The pool is excellent and a crystal blue color. Kids loved the owner's dog which was incredibly friendly but also a good guard dog over the property. Dressed up in a red bow for xmas. Felt super safe during out stay, The owners really put a personal touch of the place and nothing is too much trouble. My kids love Nutella and they presented us with a ginormous jar of Nutella on the 2nd day for breakfast. Breakfasts were world-class with a fine selection of fresh fruit, juice, cereals, homemade konfyt and hot options. The only thing I would probably change on the breakfasts would be to offer some potato option for vegetarians (maybe a potato rosti). Would highly recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a relaxing, clean stay in Swellendam. Also they fully complied with COVID regulations which really put us at ease. Small touches really count. We had a wonderful card placed in each room and chocolates on the pillows. They made reservations for us for dinner, recommended places to eat. Basically a proper concierge service. Well done to Jan and Vivianne for a brilliant stay and a quality product.
