    Great location, great hospitality

We were pleseantly surprised by this bed and breakfast, and the hospitality of the host, Simone, who was extremely helpful with everything, from restaurant suggestions to getting around rome and places of itnerest to see. The place is very very clean, very well managed, with a decent breakfast. I would definitely reccomend.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay in Rome

After traveling all over Italy for two weeks with a group of friends, I ended up in Rome for one last night to catch my flight the next day. Everyone had left already and I was looking for a comfortable, quiet place to stay for my last night, a place of calm and solitude in such a busy city. I was VERY ECSTATIC I booked this place! I have stayed in AirBnB apartments, hotels, and hostels on my previous trips to Rome, and I felt like I truly lucked out with this one. Simone was kind enough to call me and make sure I knew exactly how and where I was going. He greeted me at the door and showed me the place. I booked a double room with a shared bathroom but since there weren't many guests, he upgraded me to the one with a private bathroom. I LOVED my room with its red walls and balcony, along with a desk & chair, small fridge, electric kettle and a small selection of tea. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The aesthetics were very well thought out; it felt so zen-like: just exactly the place I was looking for! It's a great place to go back "home" to after exploring Rome and its super busy streets, sites, and metros. The best part about this place is its close proximity to the Villa Borghese park. For a runner, it's like finding gold! I did a sunset run in the park since I couldn't go in the early morning. There are a few restaurants within walking distance from the place and public transportation is nearby. I also had a very lovely chat with Mina over breakfast the next day. She is such a lovely host, so full of energy and overall a very interesting lady! We talked so much I even lost track of time! The only thing about this location is that it's a little out of the historic center. You have to transfer from the Metro A line at the Flaminio stop to the old, rinky-dinky smaller-scale Ferrovia regionale train (Euclide stop) that services the northern parts of Rome. In the daytime, it's no problem, but late-nights, expect to have to shell out for a cab ride back. I met up with a friend for late-night dinner and drinks at Testaccio and instead of taking a cab, I took the N10 night bus (free) which took about 20 mins or so. The closest bus stop was still a little further from the BnB, about a 10-minute walk or so. At 1am walking alone, I felt completely safe. The neighborhood is considered rather posh, with some embassies nearby. I actually saw some military guards as soon as I got off the night bus so I felt fine. I don't know if I'd do this in other neighborhoods of Rome, but in Parioli it's okay, I guess.

    Home sweet home Parioli

Clean, quiet, super comfortable bed. Charming and very helpful host, nice selection of breakfast, great coffee. Lovely. Its situated a little bit out of the centre of town but only one stop on the metro or an easy cab ride and a few minutes walk to the Auditorium Parco della Musica for concerts I stayed on 19th April and had Room 2 - a Standard with private bathroom across the corridor. Deluxe rooms have their own bathroom. I'd definitely stay here again.
