  Very handy to the centre of Mora

  This hotel was used as pack of a package with Inlandsbanan. It was very easily assessable to the Morastrand railway station. As a solo passenger, I was given a small double bed room, which was just fine. It had a small balcony, which permitted fresh air to enter the room. The room had all that I needed. Wifi was free and worked well. The staff were polite, but no overly helpful or seemingly enthusiastic. Breakfast was of a buffet style, with not many choices. I enjoyed staying in this hotel.

  Clean room but no view to speak of

  It is very close to the Silvan lake. About 1 block. Close to restaurants and the small downtown. The breakfast was big, but had to ask for hard boiled egg both mornings. They were out every time we came to breakfast. Not good. The room was very clean. Not exciting though. Would pick something else with more character. The best part was that it was close to everything we wanted to do.

  Good clean accommodations close to Siljan lake and village center.

  Very clean whilst somewhat restrained amenities. Offers partial views of Siljan lake, Sweden's sixth largest, from the upper floors, which is a few minutes walk across the main thourghfare. Also, the hotel is likewise a short walk to town center. A full and satisfying breakfast is provided in a room on the 3rd floor with unobstructed views of the lake. The in-house restaurant was closed for renovations during my stay. Overall, an average to low value for the asking rate.

  Avoid. (I mean it.)

  Possibly the worst hotel Ive stayed in. Early check-in not available at all since it is done in the pub which opens at 16:00. No info (at least not that I could find) about parking on the web page, and the garage was full when we arrived. The family room was an absolute nightmare; worn, filthy, warm and stuffy. Only room for three people (two single beds and a sofabed for one) although we had booked for four. Pillows and sheets synthetic and uncomfortable. We might have had a nice view over Siljan Lake - I wouldnt know, as the windows were too high up, near the ceiling. Bathroom ok but tiny. A really small breakfast buffet with few choices, most of which were not refilled, not even simple things like hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt or even clean plates. The amount of food didnt seem to be adjusted for the number of guests and the restaurant was short-staffed as well. We were told at check-in that the whole buffet was lactose-free, which it was NOT (although there were a few lactose-free choices). Staff had to run over to the nearest grocery store multiple times to cater for guests with other dietary needs, like gluten-free bread. One good thing though, guests had the option of making a take-away box with breakfast which was a nice service - especially in these covid-19 times, as the breakfast room was crowded. In short, avoid!

  Very bad check-in time

  Central hotel with check-in from 4 o'clock, it has to do with the pub opening at that time. The hotel offers parking in a cramped garage for SEK 100. Room with older standard but renovated bathroom and shower. Breakfast from 07:30, no hot food available. A slightly too expensive hotel for the standard you get.
