  Good value for money

  Very nice little hotel. Tastefully decorated, clean, well-kept, nice size rooms, huge comfy bed, large walk-in shower, good WiFi and air con, and cool garden at the back. Breakfast could be better, though, but it's ok: instant coffee or tea, orange juice, toasts and eggs; didn't see anything else on offer. Staff speak basic English and were very nice and helpful. I'm not sure what another reviewer meant by "dark hotel", it looks perfectly fine to me. All I can think of is there was some kind of power outage when he/she stayed, as in my room there was a torch. I didn't have to use it in my two nights at the hotel, though. It's a short tuk-tuk ride from the railway station, and there's a convenience store and a good, cheap, "modern Thai" restaurant three blocks away (Puu-yaa). There doesn't seem to be much to see or do in Sawankhalok, but it's a nice stop-over on the North-South route and of course there's the beautiful Si Satchanalai Historical Park a few km out of town. If you don't have your own transportation, you can catch a bus right next to the hotel that will drop you about 3 km away from the visitor centre. I'd definitely come back to this hotel if I were in the neighbourhood.

  Fine ofr a night or two

  This hotel is on the main road through the small town of Sawankhalok and is convenient for a stop over. We were there one night and had 3 rooms. The hotel, other than a few much more expensive resorts, is probably the cheapest but best value in the area. It is clean, bright and spacious, and the bedrooms has everything you need apart from tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was ok if you are Thai/Asian as they make fresh rice soup with choice of meats and condiments but if you are a western customer your choice is toast, butter and jam and cold boiled eggs. Given that it is not a touristy area as such and caters for Thai customers this is not really a surprise. I probably will never be back in that area again, but if I was I would stay there again.

  Great hotel

  The hotel was in a great location, close to shops, cafes and attractions with the river Yom close by. You can borrow a bicycle when available, breakfast, lunch and dinner can be found near to the hotel.

  Nice hotel in the small city

  The bed was very comfty and hotel was close to night street food market. Breakfast was not tasty at all. The staff was friendly. The city itself is quite calm and many historical places to visit. Cost living was much cheaper than Bangkok.

  very comfy bed

  A small hotel in a great location.Even though the hotel decoration is a bit old style but it provides full amenities and the wifi is strength.What we love most is the comfy bed,it's as good as 4 stars hotel.The service was excellent and the breakfast tasted good.
