  Javanese spa and lulur - a nice afternoone

  We went to the spa from Semarang. The spa is at the top of a mountain - took about an hour to drive there but the view was worth it. Very good spa with a good menu of options. I chose the 2 hour Javanese massage and body treatment. The therapist was excellent. The Lulur is a Javanese body scrub made from tumeric, herbs and rice. It leaves your skin soft. We then had a very nice (late) lunch in the restaurant before the drive back to town. We walked around the gardens and looked at the excellent swimming pool as well. This is a wedding venue and has a wedding chapel in the grounds. My only negative views were about the animals in cages in the grounds. 3 peacocks and 2 pea hens in one relatively small cage. Rabbits in a cage with chicken wire as the flooring was distressing

  Resort with a warm swimming pool

  Check in late at nite, to this resort. Never know that this resort is in the up hill from the others. If walking to the morning market, that will take more extra energy to do. Easily to going down, but really hard to return back. When trying to open the balcony door, some of flying small animals come to the room. And the hot water only for a while working. Something wrong, or could be most of the supply hot gas is going through the swimming pool area. While the channel TV, isnt too many option. Have to enjoy the outside, because of the beautifully scenery.

  Lunch

  Went here for lunch only and it was not disappointing as the food was great! It has a lot of variety and the portion was good. The view was also wonderful as this place is situated on the slope of Mt. Ungaran. The air definitely felt fresh!

  Lovely ;)

  One of the best highlight during our visit to Semarang! The room was clean and well maintained. The pool however was very nice. You dont have to worry about the cold since the water at the pool quite warm. The other excitement was the sauna. Knowing Bandungan is quite cold, a dip in the sauna was very relaxing though.

  Nice hotel in bandungan- semarang

  Hotel clean, nice, quiet place, and sometime have cool weather. Room big but furniture look like old. Hotel good verry nice view. Swimming pool nice but water very cool, only have warm water for swimming pool in week end. Didnt have biclye for borrow.
