  On the Alps but still at home!

  We had a great stay at this wonderful, little hotel on the Swiss Alps! The main reason is that we felt like home. Chris and Kristina did more than expected to make us feel comfortable with our two little kids. They arranged for us some nice hiking tours to the surrounding mountains, they gave us much information on the Obersaxen area (Rufalipark is a must for kids), they prepared delicious breakfast buffet (don't miss Kristina's cake and marmelade!) and dinners which absolutely satisfied adults and children alike. The room was perfect for a family, very clean and with a balcony with a great view to the Swiss Alps. We will surely come back in winter for skiing!

  Fantastic service and ammenities

  Our stay at Hotel Survelva was wonderful! The hotel rooms are very nicely appointed- They are large and clean. there are many ammenities such as free WiFi, extra pillows and blankets and assortment of toiletries. The balcony was a big plus! The restaurant serves delicious food which include local specialties, traditonal Swiss dishes as well as Greek specialties. Most meats, cheese, eggs and produce are from local farms. The location is perfect for hiking and skiing (ski in and out!), and is very tranquil. The owners, Chris and Kristina, are always available to offer suggestions and to ensure you have everything you need. The level of service goes above any service we have seen in Switzerland! Highly recommended!

  Amazing hospitality

  We stayed for 5 nights at the Hotel Surselva over New Year week and were looked after superbly by Chris and Kristina and their wonderful team. The hotel is cosy and the bedrooms are delightful. The food is amazing and Chris and Kristina make every effort to make your stay a sheer delight, nothing is too much trouble. Despite the fact that snow conditions were poor this year we managed to enjoy the benefit of good snow making facilities in Obersaxen and really pretty good skiing in nearby Flims with many runs open there. I can truly recommend this hotel and area if you a looking for a quiet and quality time.

  Thank you for this wonderful stay

  Dear Kristina and Chris The hospitality you granted us during the 4 days we spent in your hotel was incredible and Lorenza and myself wanted to thank you again for the wonderful time we had in your hotel. It started all with a perfect reservation process and when we entered the door to your well visited restaurant you already greeted us from the grill on which you prepared the first of many delicous dishes. The room was not huge but very nice and we felt home immediately, not to mention the view from the balcony into the mountains. All the staff was extremly friendly and helpful and yourself together with Kristina did everything to fulfill the wishes of the guests. Since Lorenza has a gluten intolerance we would also like to specially mention that you have a fantastic menue for gluten intolerant guests and that you served special cerials and bread every morning, we never experienced something like that before! Again, thanks a lot to both of you for this stay and we can highly recommend your hotel to anyone looking for a stay where you feel home from the first minute onwards. Reto and Lorenza

  Very friendly hotel, with good food

  We stayed at the hotel as a family of four, and was warmly welcomed by the host and hotel owner. The rooms are nice, cosy and clean, and the food and beer is exellent. This hotel is very good value for money and we recommend it warmly.
