  What a gem!

  Just returned from our stay at Surrone House. The room was very clean and has everything you need. There is free parking directly outside and also wifi is available. Breakfast has plenty of choice and you won't leave hungry. John & Christine are a lovely couple who made us feel very welcome and we will certainly return.

  Lovely B & B

  Had excellent overnight stay here. Amazing breakfast. Friendly hosts. Lovely and clean. A beautiful view of the front garden. And good location for shopping at the outlet park or a 2 minute walk to a co-op. Lovely place.

  Lovely!

  We had a lovely stay at Surrone House en route to the Isle of Skye and on the way back home. It was great spot to break our journey. John and Christine are lovely hosts and took good care of our daughters allergies during breakfast (which was lovely!). The rooms we had were spacious and clean with newly renovated bathrooms. A nice touch with Molton Brown shower soap etc. Didn't explore much nearby - other than the outlet centre which is only a few mins walk away - as it was a brief stop for us. Highly recommend!

  Lovely Quaint Place

  Stayed at Surrone House on Saturday night as an halfway house up to North of Scotland. Greeted at the door by a lovely gentleman, who showed us around our quaint room for the night. ROOM Wasn't a massive room, but plenty big enough, with everything you need for an overnight stay. Tea/coffee facilities, TV, comfortable bed, good lighting, black out curtains BATHROOM Good quality soaps, shampoo's, conditioner's, hand creams etc all supplied, And a great shower I didn't want to get out of. BREAKFAST FANTASTIC, we both really enjoyed the breakfast, on the night time we filled in a tick sheet of what we would like for mixed grill (a great idea because there is no waste), We had orange juice, pots of tea, toast and mixed grill (the mixed grill was cooked to perfection, hot, tasty and not floating in grease, Cerials were also available, CLEANLINESS This place was spotless, my wife is a bit funny about cleanliness of accomodations where stay, but she was really impressed with the cleanliness of the whole hotel. IN GENERAL Great hotel Lovely hosts Good food Definitely stay again A big thank you and well done

  Made to feel very welcome.

  Nicely set back from the main road with plenty of parking. We were greeted at the door and shown to our room. The building is lovely, an old 200 year old farmhouse. The hosts are very friendly and welcomed us like returning relatives, even though it was our first stay there. The room was clean, spacious, lovely crisp bed linen and fluffy towels. Molton Brown products in the bathroom. Due to its set back location, we had a very peaceful nights sleep. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. We would 100% stay here again if retuning to Gretna.
