Quiet but a bit far from everywhereThe only reason my friend and I stayed here was to attend a big beach party that was to be held on surin beach on New Year's Eve. If you stay here I'd recommend you hire a motorbike as taxis in Phuket are not cheap as its all fixed prices. No meters here! The beach is walking distance but is around 1.5kms away. Room service was none existent, so if you wanted clean towels, toilet paper or bed sheets, then you had to ask. The pool bar was always closed and the restaurant didn't seem to open either. The staff however are very nice and friendly. Depending on what your after, there is better hotels with better views and service out there.

Great quiet hotelI stayed here over christmas, and will definitely look to go back again next time i want somewhere to go to relax. Its a 15 minute walk to Surin beach, which is a good way to get some morning exercise! The room was about 50sqm on the ground floor, and even though its right next to the pool, i didnt feel as if i had any issues with privacy. i think I paid just over 100 sing dollars a night, which i think its great value over christmas. Would definitely recomend this place if youre looking for somewhere just off the beaten track, but only 15 minutes from the beach

Condotel with virtually non-existent serviceIt is a stretch to call this place a hotel. In the USA we call these places condotels in that they are condos that are rented on a nightly basis and they have a main rental desk were you can check-in/out. The service is virtually non-existent here, we had to follow-up once or twice for everything we asked for (taxi, rental car delivery, etc.) because they simply don't have any follow-through skills, or maybe they just don't care. The staff spoke poor English (some of them were impossible to communicate with). We had very low expectations of this place upon traveling to Phuket, but we found that they struggled to meet even the most basic of requests. It would be very easy for them to provide better service through improved management and staff training. We witnessed semi-permanent residents (owners) complaining multiple times about the service and upkeep of the place. The location is on a very busy/dangerous road which makes traveling anywhere a life threatening and hair raising experience. It is a few minutes by car/moped from beaches and most restaurants (although there are a couple of excellent restaurants within walking distance).

Worn down!1: The traffic outside is extremely busy and annoying. You hear it 24/7. Don't come here if you want peace and quiet! 2: It's worn down and is really a low budget place. If you gonna rent an apartment here don't pay more than 100bath/night. 3: Close to nothing. Surin as a area is dead or close to anyway. 4: Beaches; Go to LeamSingBeach early and you can rest your ears from the ever ongoing traffic sound. 5: The area is dirty and garbage is common. 6: Next to Muslim praying towers so the dogs answers the prayer at 5 o'clock in the morning. We will never rent here again...

dilapidated neglected property ...Lived in a 1 bedroom apartment here for almost a year as a retired man. I've had plenty of previous experience of many Phuket and other Thai accommodation types, The lift was broken for 4 months, and again is not functioning at the time I wrote this sad scathing review. Fire stairs lighting not working. The pool pump filtration system is run for a few hours a day only so the pool is unsafe to use. The common areas are covered with slippery slime, mould and ground in dirt. Pool decking is broken through with boards broken and dangerous for falling through. The parking is completely inadequate and during high season is absolutely chaotic and dangerous to the safe parking of bikes and cars. There are rotten safety railings. entire building is covered in gecko crap. There is rust and wood rot everywhere. To put it plainly the place is a run down dump. Cable tv constantly drops out - at the slightest indication of rain it stops - ever since I moved in and it first rained! Wi Fi only works in the lounge room hopeless in the bedroom.
