  Great one night stay over on the beach

  Apartment# 13 South - 3 bedroom apartment with ample space. There were lots a activities provided such as books, puzzles and games to keep the kids occupied. Apartment well stocked for longer stays with kitchen utensils, cleaning and washing facilities. There are 3 blocks in total (North, Central and South) each have a swimming pool. Showers provided on entry from the beach to shower off sand and in the swimming pool area to rinse down after a swim.Reception was very accommodating, allowing to change dates to suit working arrangements and we were able to pay $45 for a 4pm checkout which was fantastic as we did not have to rush out for the normal 10am checkout :D (well worth the spends). Free 1GB wifi was provided which was a nice surprise for the teenager staying with us who had limited mobile data. All in all we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend, thank you!!.

  Great location but disappointing and potentially dangerous accommodation

  Great location, right on the beach but that is the extent of the benefits. We had major electrical issues in our room. The oven did not work at all, which we didn't discover until 6pm at night when we tried to cook dinner for our kids. Ended up having to go out for a very late dinner on Easter weekend, paying a Public Holiday surcharge despite having the makings of a perfectly good family dinner at our apartment. The main bedroom light flashed continually at night (so that in the end we had to remove the light bulb just so that we could sleep). Worst of all - 3 members of our 4 person family (including our two children) received electric shocks from light switches and electrical switches around the apartment. One electric shock was quite severe and caused considerable pain. The office was hardly open during the Easter break (2 hours each day, from 9:30-11:30am when we were already out trying to enjoy our family holiday) for us to discuss any issues with anyone. The response we received from mentioning these issues following our stay was that the electric shocks are due to the moisture in the air and we should have known this and should have contacted them immediately so that they could come and wipe the electrical points for us. This made it very obvious that we are not the first people to have suffered these shocks, and they apparently think that wiping down electrical points AFTER they have hurt one of their visitors is a suitable response to this issue. I find it astounding that they consider this accommodation safe to rent and would definitely NOT recommend it to any families with young children. The rooms are very dated, the pools are much smaller than the photos make them appear, and the car park is a nightmare to get into and out of. Very minor issues that I would usually not even bother mentioning, but they just added to an overall very disappointing stay.

  Quiet location

  Quiet location close to Kawana shopping ctr. Poor Wi-Fi with a limit per day. Makes it tough on rainy days if you have a family. Overall an apartment that requires the bathrooms to be renovated. Could only get hot or cold water not luke warm. Close to the beach but no ocean views because of the trees overgrowth which makes this apartment not good value for what was paid.

  Unclean and run down

  The only pluses with this apartment is the location and size -that's it Rooms were in need of an update clean and paint Facilities supplied were either damaged or broken or not working Pool area was uneven - pavers loose or lifted WiFi was hopeless

  Very good location but with lots of disappointments

  The direct booking process was very easy considering I had a special request for lift access. The property is located right on the beach. The pool was also good. Unfortunately the tiled floors which appeared clean were actually very unclean. It took me several sessions of mopping to no longer have brown soup water. Not what I expected to have to do on our weeks break there. The thumping of the base of the music of permanent neighbours next door was also very unpleasant. The sound carried out into the lift foyer and through the lounge walls & front door. The supposed free WiFi did not work at all.
