  Eerie hotel

  This hotel has been renamed from ANA Crowne Plaza to Surfeel Hotel. We paid 10,000 yen for a night. The building looks like your 5 star hotel and the inside feels grand. During our stay, there were less than 10 guests around. We were looking around the hotel, the second level and the top level was not lit up and it was creepy. We got to our room; it was spacious and clean with a view of the harbor and the sea. We noticed that the drawers were all left open. Then things start to get a little creepy. There was a Buddha book sitting on the night table.. After using the basin, we closed the toilet door. Few minutes later, we went into the toilet and the tap was left on. Not sure if we forgot but who forgets turning off the tap? The room itself was very cold and had no heating system in the peak of winter. In any case, with this price paid, this hotel does not provide much amenities or services. There is a washing machine downstairs but you have to pay for it. There is also no public bath/onsen. No womens amenities too. This hotel may be the most grand in the area but not the best.

  Gorgeous harbor view, friendly staff

  From the extra friendly treatment on checking in to the magnificent picture window view from our room, this opulence was a welcome end to a long day on the train. Only a five minute walk from the train station. Convenience store and friendly eateries nearby.

  Not cheap but extremely good

  This place looks good and feels good. Lovely big room with a harbour view. Excellent bathroom with all facilities. Nice touch was the drip coffee in the free facilities in the room. I really appreciate the cool, clean, crisp bed linen.

  Spacious with gorgeous view!

  Room was big, comfortable and clean. So was the bathroom. View of the harbour was magnificent! I think it's one of the best hotels in town and would be my go-to accommodation if I come back. Free parking outside with extra space across the road. Everything worthwhile is walking distance i.e. train station, ferry port, Vin Steak House, Yumeshokukankita Market, etc. A few misses though. No bellboy service. No one stationed at the entrance. Most hotels of this level provide nice freebies such as face cream, body lotion, aroma bath crystals, etc. None here only basic toiletries. They definitely need to improve the quality of in-room coffee which tasted horrible.

  Quiet hotel in very north Hokkaido

  This hotel is so empty in Winter low season (very cheap too), I barely saw a tourist during my stay. Room is cozy and comfortable, service is warm and helpful. Located next to the seaside, about 10 mins walk from the station.
